Some of you will remember a few weeks ago Shane Russell asked R-BAR to help him raise some much needed funds for Brian House Children's Hospice. We helped him by allowing him to sell sweets and chocolate bars in the venue plus he made a lovely hamper that we raffled off. In total he raised ┬г400. That money was retained by R-BAR throughout the event and has today been transferred into the the charity funds via an online donation. I requested the proof of transfer should include Shane's name as it was really his event but they sent the email as shown. I should also perhaps... for the doubters point out that Brian House Hospice is Trinity House Children's Hospice. Well done Shane...a wonderful gesture from a great guy.

Frenchie is amazing on the bar and knows exactly who's turn it is next to be served and your pint always comes with a smile and a bit of banter.. Clean, welcoming, great cabaret, brilliant service, cheapest drinks on the local scene & a decking area - who needs more this place has it all
