Hello 👋 I finally got my posh sewing and embroidery machine fixed after being told originally it was unfixable. Cost me £300 😩 So to celebrate getting it back I finally finished a cushion for my own house which I have been planning since November! I’m so happy with it. The embroidery took hours and hours though. What do you think? I’m going to need to raise some of that repair money so I’ll have a few offers on the page over the next few days. Emma x

Sorry I’ve been a bit absent- a funeral, a special birthday party and exhaustion. Got a few days now to catch up on orders before we go on an unexpected holiday so I’ll be doing my best to get everything out in a timely manner though me and my best girl do have a Walking with Dinosaurs show to go to and also Alice in Wonderland at the Epstein this week 😃

Remember I posted a few weeks ago about some new reusable products which included shopping bags, breastfeeding pads, facial pads, sanitary towels and possibly baby wipes? Well it took me a while but amongst my orders I’ve been fitting in some sample making. Excited to show you a sneak preview of possibly the most absorbent and comfy sanitary product you’ll find. It’s got a moisture wicking layer on top, a super absorbent core that is 6x more absorbent than towelling or fleec...e, a waterproof breathable layer to prevent leaks and a colourful cotton layer on the outside with soft jersey binding. It isn’t bulky at all. There’ll be a light, regular and nighttime and I’ll be selling them individually but also in a pack which includes a wet bag for hand bag and a washing net for the washing machine. Can’t wait to see what my testers think. Hopefully these will be available in September.

Oh heyyy! I’m still here! My family is going through a very difficult time and although I’m sewing every minute I can spare I’m still a little behind. It doesn’t help that my best sewing machine is totally dead and it’s now also the school holidays 😣 Orders are going out every day and I’m nearly caught up. All but one customer have been very understanding so I thank you for that. Both me and my partner are self- employed and it doesn’t allow time to grieve, time to be ill, ti...me to rest. He’s gone off to work already this morning and I’m going to be neglecting our daughter (iPad babysitter) whilst I sew 😬 She had a traumatic hospital experience yesterday so chilling on the sofa is her preference (I’m not a terrible mother honestly!) Wonderful shop for gifts and staple items for baby. We've had trousers made for or four year old and four week old which are fabulous - wash really well too. Christmas stockings, bibs and dresses as gifts. All beautifully made and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend a visit, but be careful... your purse will be a bit lighter when you leave as you'll want to buy everything!

Was given a gift voucher for my birthday for the cushion making class. Emma is such a fantastic teacher so relaxed and encouraging for a newbie like me who had not used a sewing machine before. Thoroughly enjoyed our workshop making skirts. Got the seal of approval from my little daughter who was very happy with the result!
