This week has been a complete whirlwind but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has shown us support on both a professional and personal level.
Despite it feeling like an impossible challenge at times, we managed to open /expand our adjacent shop as planned and on schedule and we hope you like the transformation ❤️
We have been really moved by those of you who have taken the time to congratulate us, pop in for a nosey or even just a thumbs up whilst walking past it real...ly means a great deal.
On a more personal note our baby girl is due any day and we have been so moved by all of the messages of support, cards, gifts and even offers to help us in any way possible that I needed to take the time to just say...

I can barely move this evening.. but by jove it was worth it!

What an amazing talent and what a beautiful shop. It's true that there are many artists who create beautiful work but Beccy captures the sole of whatever it is that she is drawing and all of the additional extras...the cushions, the lamps, the crockery- it just adds to the uniqueness of a shop whereby not only do you get to purchase the goods, but you get to meet the artist. Well done Beccy. I love that I now have little pieces of the Lake district in our home that have been created with love by you. Keep up the good work.

We visited this little shop whilst having a weeks break in Windermere. What a little beauty of a shop. Rebecca is such a welcoming person. Her artwork is beautiful. My daughter fell in love with the fox she was drawing and had to buy a print. Her designs are incorporated around the shop in various items such as mugs, cushions etc. Also all her items for sale are by local artists which is fantastic. We visited the shop while on our honeymoon and absolutely fell in love with the artwork. The fine detail that goes into every little bit is outstanding. The passion Rebecca has for the wildlife she draws is reflected in her artwork. It was a great pleasure meeting her too and speaking to her as she told us how it all started.

Rebecca Cropper kindly accepted to draw our beloved cat, Mario. The talent this lady has is astounding. My wife is already talking about asking her to do some more. I can’t recommend Rebecca enough. Such a joy to deal with and so talented at what she does.

Purchased multiple items from Rebecca that are her own designs and other artists work that she stocks. Beautiful shop and even more stunning pieces. Your missing out if you take a trip to Bowness and don’t visit!

On a recent visit to Windermere, my brother spotted a felt red squirrel in Rebecca’s window which he thought would be the perfect birthday present for our Mum (we live in Formby near the National Trust Red Squirrel Reserve so she is lucky enough to have them as visitors in the garden). When he popped back 2hrs later to buy it, the squirrel had been sold! Contact was then made via Facebook with Rebecca who was simply perfect to deal with. The story was explained, a fresh batch of squirrels made available, a photo sent for me to pick the one we’d like and the rest is history...he’s now waiting to be handed over to Mum on her birthday next week. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Thank you Rebecca �

Myself and Gypsy (my doggie) were welcomed by Rebecca into her creative space and it was a joy to behold the talent on show; furthermore I spent a few hours chatting, reminiscing, pondering as if we hadn't just met. So friendly and such a positive experience...thanks for your lovely words and your incredible artwork.

My wife and I popped in on our first wedding anniversary and picked up a stunning image of a Highland cow which now hangs in our sun room as a lasting reminder of our weekend. We were amazed at both Rebecca 's talent and friendly nature during our visit. Quite simply superb.

Mum bought me a lovely print of Squirrel Nutkin for my birthday, to remind me of precious memories of The Lake District.

I just want to leave a little bit of feedback! I visited store around late June and I was so captured by the style of Rebecca's graphite sketches!



I've wanted my terrier drawing for some time now but not known where to turn in asking. When I came across the store i knew that I had to reach out and thankfully Rebecca accepted!



After a few months wait it's finally done and up on the wall and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!

I came to Windermere for my birthday weekend and as we were having a stroll in town we were both stopped in our tracks by the incredible artwork in the window so of course we had to go in. To walk in and actually see the artist at work was an unexpected delight as this is not usually something you get to observe. Needless to say it wasn't an easy decision choosing which print to purchase as we wanted it all but we got there in the end. I can say with certainty if we don't make it back there will most definitely be an order on its way to Cambridge in the near future!

On top of all of that, Rebecca is so welcoming and such a delight to talk to. I will remember my visit to this stunning shop and hope it's not the last �

I bought Sitting Fox as my treat for my birthday as I fell in love with it while at Bowness on Saturday 22nd April. Not decided where to put it yet but won't be too long in deciding. Rebecca was very welcoming in her shop and gave me a free brownie as it was my birthday. I could have spent a lot of money as there was so many beautiful things.

Discovered Rebecca's shop on Sunday night when I spotted a clock in the window, but it was closed. We had a quick email exchange on Monday and this morning my new clock arrived. I love it and will definitely be going back next time we're in the area, and during opening hours! Thanks Rebecca.

After searching for around 8 years for an artist to draw my girls(dogs) I stumble across this little gem of a shop with a very lovely welcoming lady in November on our weekend trip to the lakes, after chatting for a while and admiring her stunning work. We came away and I was so captured and in love with her work I just knew this was the artist for my girls so after a fair few months of trying to find the right image I finally chose and Today (10/3/18) I went and collected them and oh boy they are even more stunning in the flesh � I can not thank you enough Rebecca they are truly beautiful. Couldn’t recommend her work enough if anyone is wanting a drawing xxx
