Went in lastnight, first time visiting of an evening but it won't be the last, this place is a real gem! I've never really drank gin so asked the bar man for a recommendation, it's was amazing, I have the rhubarb and ginger gin with tonic, staff were lovely and helpful and the place itself is great, very chilled atmosphere, comfy seating and beautiful decor, very impressed and excited to visit in the future xxx

Went for lunch. Great menu. Very relaxed atmosphere. Had to wait about 20minutes for our order, but when it came it was freshly cooked and delicious. Would definitely go again.

Second visit and first breakfast - and the most perfect poached eggs ever. We’ll probably be back for lunch...

My partner and I visited this place for the first time today, absolutely loved it! Atmosphere was brilliant, very chilled. Staff were so lovely and polite. Loved that they had different board games, cards and dominos that you could play with while sat having a drink. Brilliant idea. Will definitely be going back!

Have eaten breakfast there a few times now. They consistently maintain high standards of service, lovely food and great coffee. Will be a regular now!

Had lunch today and waited 40 minutes for food. I had a wrap and the bacon still had all the fat on which really put me off. We were told to get our own sauces from inside but there was no mayo and when we asked we were told that they’d probably run out. (or the member of staff we spoke to couldn’t be bothered to check). On a plus side the coffee was lovely and it was so nice sitting outside. It’s such a shame the service and food let this place down. Just a few simple changes would make this place so much better.

Excellent choice of gins and a nice pavement cafe experience. We have never eaten here therefore so not able to comment on food. Athough we were aware of customers discussing wait time and standard of food.

Our experience was that the bar service is extremely slow and some of the staff need a course in how to deliver a pleasent customer service experience. Senior managementl need to get a grip of the situation before customers don't return.

Drinks were nice waited a long time after We ordered our drinks other people were complaining about the wait for drinks and food to be served. However We enjoyed sitting in the sunshine having our drinks.

rude staff 45 minute wait for food when was told 30 minutes top staff just walked away when a complaint was raised over the wait !!!turned away for ten minutes for drinks staff slow and rude !! never again got better things to do then wait 40 minutes for a sandwich

We liked remedy when we first went in but, when my partner tasted her drink it was flat, when we told the lady behind the bar she just said "it`s a fresh bottle I`ve been serving it all day I`ll put it in another glass if you want! So much for customer service, won`t be going again.

We had always been big fans but our first visit yesterday to the larger premises on Lord St was sadly a very disappointing and saddening experience. We waited for almost 7 minutes in a queue to order one coffee and pay for 2 icecreams out of a fridge. 3 or 4 people were also waiting while 5 people behind the bar seemed to have no clue what was going on. The table were littered inside and out with dirty plates, cups and left over food and the toilets were a disgrace. Still staff had plenty of time to laugh and joke with the chef while we all waited unamused. Good advise for any business dont expand too quickly and engage and train the right staff . Shame had such boutique style potential at previous venue. Not sure we will be back

This place is a joke. Train your staff. Service is appalling. 9 staff on, couldn't serve two customers at the bar. No business acumen what so ever.
