Retrofit Description
RetroFit Tameside is a family owned independent movement facility founded in 2011 to provide a viable option to counter the faceless and largely ineffective ethos of modern fitness facilities.
We are a family friendly box gym and Jiu Jitsu dojo with no distractions, no egos, no frills, no machines, no mirrors and no nonsense, where the general public get to train like athletes under the guidance of highly qualified coaches in a safe and effective environment.
We have blended tried and tested fitness systems of the past like boxing , barbells, gymnastics, Indian clubs, Jiu Jitsu, kettlebells, Muay Thai, sandbags, ropes, sledge hammers, suspension training and yoga with modern day sports science to create fun and challenging non-contact life enhancing sessions.
Our ground floor studio resembles a weird hybrid of a Ninja Warrior course mixed with elements of a martial arts dojo, old school gymnasium, boxing camp and adventure playground.
We cater our sessions to all fitness ability levels from novice to advanced.
