Wow went with friends for a meal last night excellent staff are friendly relaxed atmosphere and the food is first class will return

What a lovely family and great friends that have started a new adventure and turned this place around. Great homemade food great atmosphere great staff if u haven't been in u must give it a go u will not be disappointed�����

We have visited today with small children and were made to feel so welcome, food was amazing, really fresh home cooked Roast dinner, we will be visiting again soon.

Visited the rising sun a few months ago for one of their band nights and it was brilliant! The place has had such a great turn around, went for lunch yesterday and it was fantastic, the home cooked salt and pepper chips were amazing! Definitely won’t be leaving it as long to visit next time. To the new owners keep up the great work! x

The place is great from the music to the atmosphere the staff are friendly , and my wife loves the Gin selection! It's become a proper local!

Many thanks for the superb meals this lunchtime. I brought the whole family - 14 of us - and we had a great time. The food was excellent and plenty of it. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly. Thanks again to the chef and the young man behind the bar.

Just eaten at the rising sun for the second night in a row. Amazing home made food. Especially from the special board. Highly recommend. Great portion sizes and great value for money.

I really love going in the raising Sun pub for a night out. They always have great entertainment,bar staff and customer are always friendly and really helpful.Not had chance yet to try the food but have been told by several people that its great. When asked by friends what pub to go to I would always surgest this one.x�

I honestly can not ask for a better local pub, it’s not just a pub, everyone there, whether it be staff, the owners or the punters are all a family. Great drinks, great food and great entertainment every weekend too! This place has honestly turned around this place since Scott and Nat took over, great people and great pub!! Xx

Got to be the most improved pub in Hazel Grove. One of the few places where the real ale is kept properly. Bonus choice of a good selection of Gins too! Great live music, pool table, family-friendly - well worth a visit. Support your local boozer!

Called on Friday, 25 May at 6 pm as part of a large stag party. The young man behind the bar was a credit to the pub. Polite, cheerful. unflustered and efficient. A credit to your establishment.

Best & most improved pub in the Grove! We’ve been coming here for years to watch the football but since the new owners have taken over, we’ve noticed massive improvements particularly with the food which is delicious! Great World Cup atmosphere! Really does tick every box �

Been in a few times since taken over by new management.Excellent atmosphere and a very warm welcome.Good choice of beers and great live music at weekends.Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

Awesome pub! Been watching the World Cup here and the atmosphere has been amazing! Ice cold beer and loads of TVs so you've always got a good seat and the food is great too! Off there now to watch the England game!
