Our first visit to this restaurant with my family and friends for my birthday, very impressed nothing any trouble with what you want, if you like something different the way it's prepared no trouble and explain anything your not sure about, had mussels for starters the way I like them and sea bass fillets for my mains absolutely gorgeous and I even had a lovely Irish coffee with proper pouring cream instead of that squirting stuff which I hate. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back�

I love this Restaurant so much, the food is delicious, the service is excellent and it deserves a ten star.

Ideal for any event too whether you are wanting a romantic meal for 2 or a in a group.

Had our second night at vesuvios on Saturday didn't Bother with menu’Nicola recommend he would order for us good call 7 courses grilled octopus ,and king prawns ,stuffed auburgins ,tuna carpaccio Baccala’ and squids..fresh vongole with fresh pasta ,veal and steak tagliata no sweet just. Home made sfogliatelle very hard to make 10 out of 10 thanks to Nicola and chef Giuseppe 2 good night s

Food and service is Top Notch.



Lucky to have it on my doorstep, well with traveling to if it’s not on yours.

Excellent food and attentive staff, my dad keeps going on about the best piece of halibut he’s ever had.

Brilliant authentic Italian food, great atmosphere, attentive waiters. Been here many times and have always had a fantastic meal and experience. Highly recommended.

Another beautiful experience with the family of Versuvio restaurant. They went the extra mile to have mussels on the specials board for me (by email request) and others, no doubt!

This is the place to dine with fantastic food. Love it.

If I had been writing this review after my first experience, I would have liked to give Vesuvio 6 stars. The food is exceptional, possibly the best Italian food I've had. However, tonight we ordered takeaway and when we got home they had given us one of the dishes wrong and the garlic bread was almost cold after a 5 minute drive. Upon ringing to complain the person who answered the phone tried to say my boyfriend had ordered that dish (despite the fact he doesn't eat meat and it contained beef) and after hesitation they agreed to remake the dish. Once collected he wasn't offered an apology. I accept mistakes happen when you take orders over the phone in a busy and loud restaurant but this resulted in us eating separately and receiving no apology. Basically - amazing food but the service leaves something to be desired. Will return in the hope to see an improvement in the customer service skills and that this is just one individual and not a representation of the whole restaurant.

Had a lovely evening with friends last night. Tomato and cheese garlic bread is to die for! Will be returning soon
