What a fantastic and wonderful established and to top it all the table service at its very best never moved ! everything came to us ! the food and the friendly staff was excellent well done 1st class happy days !

We were here last night (Sunday 18th March)

We’d just finished performing an afternoon jazz & blues gig and were very hungry �

It was after 8pm when we arrived and we’d already been turned down by a venue close so we were worried it was already too late.

Nope � the staff were delightful and we ordered our food prompt.

The service was infallible. Drinks arrived as quick as they could be poured, but not rushed I might add.

Our lovely waitress took our order and the food arrived within 20 mins.

We weren’t expecting much at 8:30pm on a Sunday evening but both our orders were presented well and tasted delicious!

The biggest surprise was when the bill came. £20:50 for two FRESH meals of lamb and fish with seasoned vegetables. AND DRINKS � 2-4-1 on all main meals! Great deal!!

I couldn’t fault it and will definitely back.

Treated myself to a starter and main after loosing a family pet. Was a lovely view sat next to canal. Staff were friendly and even when the was a mix up with starter they happily sorted it quickly.

Lovely meal staff are nice and friendly service was excellent. The only thing was I think the soft drinks was to dear they could be cheaper or you could do a set price and free refills some places do that . As you have a lot a young people go and drivers that can't drink so the free refills would be a good idea

It is a a great place for a meal, lovely atmosphere, nice view of the River Weaver. Very friendly, well mannered and efficient staff 10/10. The food is first class, and a very quick service, after you have ordered your meal. Really enjoyed celebrating my birthday in there, keep up the good work � �

I went riverside tonight for my daughters 21st birthday it was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful they brought my daughters cake � out and started singing happy birthday the only downside is we waited a while for our meals but they did explain and I thought that was good so we will definitely be going back

Had a lovely time for my birthday yesterday , the atmosphere was fab the staff very friendly the meal absolutely fab would recommend this place to anyone hope to visit again soon Thankyou to all xx

Friendly atmospere, well mannered staff, food is good & hot, two for one deal is brilliant. Cant recall a bad experience in the visits i and my family have eaten here.

Five star is most you can give but I would say 10 out of 5 all aspects are great from location to food & drinks to staff. thanks

Food was unreal staff were so helpful and polite. All round fab night will definatly be going again xxx.

Lovely view food run of mill and basic not too expensive no area to eat child free and no dogs allowed. My chips were a little over done and coffee went cold quickly

Food was nice but allowing people to smoke next to a room we hired my wife is 8 months pregnant and having to breath it in fuming is an understatement. They really need to make a spot to smoke away from the building

When i asked for Non alcoholic lager or cider I was given 2 choices both of which were disgusting.

Please STOP serving 'Rocket' with every meal and offer a bit of fresh salad with maybe some dressing. I used to enjoy this place if we were passing by, but the chef needs to air some imagination, as it's gone down hill quickly. Give the poor guy some anti-depressants. A meal shouldn't have to be drowned in mayonnaise because it's too dry to eat as is. Chips with the skin left on? To top it off over £4 a pint - seriously?

Food was average and staff were extremely rude. Myself and my husband were left sat waiting to order for 20 minutes until I went to the bar and asked was in table service like it was advertised. I was told it was but I should order at the bar if I didn’t want to wait. The waitresses were not busy they were cleaning tables and chatting to each other whilst we were sat waiting to order food and drinks. Food was cheap and cheerful slightly small portions 2 for 1 but wouldn’t go back as we were made to feel uncomfortable so we just left after our main meal. Also glad I didn’t complain to staff as after reading reviews on trip adviser afterwards reviews state staff (including manager) verbally abuse people who complain about anything.

Food came cold ,unfortunately came back re heated but very very poor quality ! I don’t normally leave reviews but it needs to be said go else where ! So many nice places with good food in this area we will not return and if asked I will NOT recommend !
