Aparently....it's quite common.... posted on a Bike Trade page....

Smarta Chinese e-bike.... Bungee through the rear wheel ... damaged the cassette joint, took the rear sprocket off ... All sorted and set up.... It was desined in the UK 🤣

It's electric bike day....

Felt aero bike.... Front cable guide rivnut & screw repair ...tear down all the crank etc to drill and replace the old rivet with a rivnut & screw...much better.... Then tune up time..... Planet X ...new front derailleur cable & tune up...

Ultegra/105 users..... Beware.... This wasn't changing clean into gears 10 & 11 on the rear.... After chesning, lubricating the usual pivot points etc .... A cable was suspected and on inspection.... Only 2 strands left at the shifter end........ When were your cables last swapped???

Upgrade from 2 X 10 to 1 X 10 ....from 11- 34 rear to 11- 42 rear ...... New Bottom Bracket from 19mm FSA to 24mm Shimano .... 1 X 10 shifter without gear "window"

Back To School bike checks & services now underway.... Keep your children safe.......
Winter Bike checks, builds & set ups too

Ultegra users.... If on R8020 levers... Careful as many are having issues with pawls & springs on the right hand shifter... I see warranty claims coming up

Tip of the day..... Any 105 11 speed 5800 users..... Keep an eye out for bargain prices on these as there are stock reduction prices on components ..... Shimano have brought out a "new" version...still 11 speed etc but tarted up....

Disc rotors/pads on one ....... New tyres on the other... So far today....

It might be the height of summer....and 27c out there..... but.... This one (mine)..... has just been prepared for the Winter season....
Well ... October onwards..... SKS chromo full mudguards... Deda carbon look waterproof bar tape....

Soon be Winter Bike service/prep time...... I'm doing my one this week.... new FULL SKS guards and tyres....

I used Mike to service my Sirius over a year ago for a triathlon. The bike had seen better days (im very lazy when it comes to cleaning/maintenance of anything!) and needed a lot of love.



I was stunned by Mikes level of service as his come to my house on the same day and then returned the bike to me looking better than new the day after.



I use the bike about 3 times a week to travel 10ish miles and its still running smoothly since the service. Mike is clearly passionate about his job and knows more about bikes than anyone i know.

Found Mike through Facebook at the end of last year following a poor experience with another local bike shop. Am always in need of someone I can rely on for my bikes' maintenance and can now not reccomend Mike more highly!

He told me when I was chatting with him that whenever someone brings him a bike he simply treats it as if it were his own, and that for me is the perfect ethos for any exceptional customer service!

Fantastic value for money, exceptional knowledge of mechanics and the sport and in general just a great guy to deal with!



If you've got a problem simple or complex, big or small, then there's no one else you need turn to than him :)
