i have been here in the past and to be honest the food wasnt that nice and the staff did have an attitude and was very rude but yesterday we decided to try it again for my husbands birthday .The food was really nice and came out within half an hour also the staff on duty was lovley .This pub has gone much better and i will definatley be returning again!

What can I say, went to Robin Hood for Xmas meal last night. Staff we're welcoming and food was amazing. Service was excellent, brought food when said and asked if we wanted to have a breather between courses. Good thing as servings we're very generous � would like to thank all the staff for making our Xmas meal something that we all enjoyed. Everyone had a great night and a couple of us also enjoyed the 2 4 1 cocktails, which made the night. Couldn't of been any better. Thank you

We came here last night for food... I had the dip it, drench it burger and my partner had one of the food challenges. Service was great, food came out within a reasonable time, good quality and a wide selection on the menu. We will definitely be back � the young lady behind the bar who took our payment was excellent too!

The food was very tasty and piping hot served by a very friendly enthusiastic young man named Brian. We will be back �

Me an the better half had nachos to start wich were very nice an then both had double dipped ribeye wich was cooked to perfection the staff was great we was well stuffed an will be goin back soon

Iv been Robin Hood in pasted several times. Yes sometimes there is a wait, but thats cos the restaurant is full. And i understand they busy and food would take that bit longer.

Been coming to the Robin Hood for serval years, food has gone down massively. Used to enjoy their food as it used to be served with good presentation but now it’s just thrown onto the plate. Food wait is ages even during quiet periods. Some staff are friendly and helpful whereas others a quite rude. And the tables are always filthy.

Went to RH last night with four for friends for a reunion meal with the intention of making it a regular event. What a let down. Not exactly full but every empty table was unclean and full of discarded plates and cutlery. Asked a waiter running through the bar if he could clean the tables and he just shouted "I'm busy serving food you'll have to wait"... I asked for a cloth but he ignored me and went into the kitchen. We ordered our food and was told there was an up to 50 min wait which surprised us as I said it wasn't full. Told at point of order there were no sausages for the mixed grill ( my friend wanted bangers and mash but had to resort to microwave lasagne that didn't even film the dish) so we were advised we would get extra chicken instead. Meal took over an hour to arrive and the mixed grills had no e,tea chicken on only a piece the size of a chicken nugget. The tables still hadnt been cleared ( save what we had moved ourselves) and we had to send the mixed grills back for the extra chicken. No cutlery was available until we asked and the condiment tray was empty and we had to search for our own. Went to the bar to order extra drinks after the meal and queued for ten mins with no staff available to serve. When the same waiter turned up he had to go outside to the front door as the supervisor who had the key to the till was out there smoking. Not a great impression for anyone turning up...why wasn't she in the smoking area at the back? Was served by her a little later and she had no idea wat the spirits offers were for happy hour despite them being on the website. No ice was available as the machine was broken as was no coffee as the machine had a huge OUT OF ORDER sign on it. We were there for four and a half hours and the tables we were at had still not been cleared or wiped. The only reason I gave the night two stars was the food was of edible quality, but the restaurant itself, the staff and the cleanliness was a disgrace, as were customers effing and jeffing (following a football match not during) when there were children running around. This is a local pub/restaurant to me which I will not be using again, and as I can see there are no replies on the reviews on FB indicates to me that they don't even care. I will be sharing this review on TripAdvisor and all local food reviews to warn people of the terrible service and atmosphere as well as forwarding to Sizzling Inns in the hope they can shake this place up for local people who attend.

the food we orderd took 45 mins to come out, when it come out there was a hair on my plate and it was cold so we requested fresh meals, the fresh meals took 35 mins to come out to us after us already waiting 45 mins in the first place, so all in all we waited 1 hour and 20 mins, by the time the fresh food come out we wasbput off and didnt fancy it at all. the coke was flat! after complaining the "manager" agreed to give us 4 puddings free of charge as he could not refund us which is bullshit. would rather sit in gregs and eat a pasty than go to this shit hole. not to mention it stunk of wee as we walked in. i ended up coming home £35 down and had eaten nothing!!!!! customer service was shit but not as shit as the cold food and flat coke.

Shouldn’t of bothered, my burger was over cooked and the bun was falling apart and oh yeah couldn’t have an alcoholic drink as there was no mixers for my jack daniels as the machine broke the day before and no cans or bottles left either. Absolutely avoid in my view.

Waiting time is ridiculously shocking! Been told it would take half an hour for food to arrive, order only came 1 hour later. My medium rare steak was cooked all the way through. My sons meal came out as not what we ordered. Someone “looked” like a manager was busy watching football behind the bar instead of coming out to sort the mistake out. Felt sorry for the only waitress who ran around to say sorry to customers last night. We used to be regulars at Robin Hood for few years and it was not this bad back then. Never again!!

Normally come here because the cock In Worsley is a bit hit and miss...... But on the last two occasions I have eaten here the food has been bad, today's food was exceptionally bad. Asked for medium cooked steaks and ended up with charcoal. I didn't complain because I took pictures instead to put on social media and TripAdvisor. (Fed up of complaining you see) I don't know what's happened but it should be sorted out as I'm now knackered for a decent steak!!!. Question? How the hell do you manage to frazzle four different steaks on three different orders ???

I’m reserved a table for my 21st Birthday meal and they wanted a list of meals everyone was eating so I brought it in for them on Thursday they said thank you for it. So came in tonight at half 7 expecting everything to go ok! But no I had to ask about all our food they hadn’t even looked at the list then they wanted to know how people wanted the meat cooked, so that took even longer and then she didn’t even bring the starters out properly she kept going to different people. The kids starter garlic bread was unappealing so we refuse it as was all burnt (got a picture of it) so people was left with nothing until she came back out. She came out with a birthday cake to a different table. Mother in law had to get cutlery and sauces for table. The girl had attitude who was dealing with us. Someone asked for some sauce and she never got it. The main courses was all a shambles, and the deserts took over an hour to come out we had to keep asking for them. So for the all the night it was just appalling it ruined my birthday so thanks Robin Hood for ruining it! I will not be recommending you to anyone. I will be ring the manager on Monday to see them about this cause this place was a joke from start to finish very very disappointed and annoyed not a way to celebrate my 21st!
