User

Went with my sister yesterday for lunch. Food lovely and nice atmosphere. Staff very efficient, even though the Welsh rarebit came without the poached egg on top, which we'd ordered extra. This was rectified quickly, although I did notice it happening to another diner.

User

We had a brilliant visit yesterday, me and my sister took our dad for a treat! Ken the tour guide was lovely and really knowledgeable. The food in the pub was really nice and good portions. Paid extra for dad to have the gold package and the gift bag was fab as was the beer tasting! Highly recommended and will be back in the pub soon! Thanks for a great memory x

User

We booked this venue to celebrate my mum's 85th birthday. The food and service was superb and amazing value for money. A massive thank you to Bernice and the staff for going above and beyond for us, we cannot thank you enough! We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to dine/hire the venue!

User

Very informative tour yesterday. This was my husbands choice of day out for his birthday, not really my cup of tea but I actually enjoyed it. The chap who did the tour made it very interesting and was really lovely. It was good at the end that I could take a bottle of their beer home for my husband as IŌĆÖm not really a beer drinker. Would recommend it for an afternoon out. We didnŌĆÖt eat, but the food looked amazing. ¤Öé

User

Tour length just right. Tour guide was excellent as he covered the history of the brewery as well as explaining the brewing process. Enjoyed the meal following our tour. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

User

Took my partner there for his birthday, as he loves beer.

We took the Gold package. ┬Ż24.99 each, inc tour, 6 beer tokens= two flights of beer or two pints of beer.

The Tour took over 90mins, Ray our guide was brilliant, full of fascinating information. The beer tasted good once we knew how it was made.

We booked lunch in the popular restaurant too. Excellent food and equally excellent service from the pleasant staff.

What a wonderful experience.

User

Just had a private tour of the brewery with Bernise, such a friendly knowledgeable lady who also keeps a cracking pint, lucky for us we came the last Friday in the month when there's live music & a food festival in the town, can highly recommend & we'll definitely be back again...

Thanks again Bernise & Stuart for an amazing experience ’┐Į

User

I really enjoyed my tour of the brewery and a big thank you must go to Ken the tour guide . He was very informative and explained the process of turning water into Ale with another 3 ingredients superbly . The visitors centre is very clean and bright with lots of information dotted around the main entrance area . I actually did the gold tour which meant at the end I could sample 6 ales where as with the normal tour you get to sample 3 ales You also get a gift bag with the gold tour which you basically pick from the items that are included from the shop .

I would recommend this tour to anyone without any hesitation

A Big 5 stars to Robinsons

User

I held my 40th party here and highly recommend this venue. The staff were brilliant and couldnŌĆÖt do any more for me and the buffet food was amazing. ItŌĆÖs a perfect intimate venue to celebrate and all guests were very impressed indeed by this hidden gem. Thank you so much Robinsons Brewery visitors centre!!

User

I came on this tour with my husband for my birthday. The staff were so friendly and our tour guide (Del I think) was very knowledgeable. It was a good time of year to go as even though it was cold outside it was nice and warm in the brewery.

At the end of the 1 hour 15 mins tour we had a lovely pint and some really nice food. If planning on eating I would recommend booking. We managed to get the only free table.

User

Highly recommended. Had a excellent day.great tour with Tony, great food ,quality ale

User

Had a great day yesterday at Robinsons brewery. We had a great tour, i got two Trooper goodie bags (thanks to the wife being with me). We had something to eat in the bar, witch was excellent and well priced. Will definitely be going back again. I will in be on the 7th of August, hoping Bruce will pop in again the day after the concert. Missed him last year’┐Į

User

Great tour around the brewery, well worth a visit. Guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and interacted with the group fantastically. Opportunity to try 3 beers included in tour price which is a welcome bonus, drivers could opt for tea/coffee/soft drinks. Got to meet the lovely Bobek (Shire Horse) at the end of the tour which was a highlight for me, lol. Good shop selling all things Robinsons & Shire Horse Society!

User

Great food and drink beautiful setting and helpful friendly staff will be going again.

User

Fantastic tour by Del. lovely bar and food. The shop was great as they weren't ripping you off. I came away will some great ale and gift set.

User

Fantastic experience, Greatest Brewery I have ever seen! And the Ales/Beers are brilliant! My favourites are Old Tom, Dizzy Blonde and of course the Trooper(s) and the Hallowed! Brew Up the Irons!!! ;)

User

A great couple of hours , looking at what goes on behind the scenes very informative and Ken was an excellent Guide , a bit hard going with a lot of steps up and down (I had injured my Knee a few days prior) and at the end of the Tour you get to same 3x1/3 pints of Brews of your choice , I went for one of the new Brews Kapow , very nice drink followed by Wizard and a Dizzy Blonde , my Tour was a Birthday gift ...... a great idea IMO ’┐Į

User

It's a bit of a bargain tour this, nice and informal which matches the family business well. It takes about an hour or a little more and is well presented by the guide. Plenty of time to discuss and ask questions. The restaurant/ bar at the end us well presented, and where you can collect your 3 X 1/3rd samples of your choice of beer from the range available. Staff all smart and friendly. Their brewery products are available to purchase, though sadly at full price. I think that offering a discount to visitors would encourage you to buy as gifts etc as they can be bought more cheaply off site. One small moan, there doesn't appear to be any guidance on where the visit starts on their website, and the phone number is on answerphone. The Visitor Centre is at the rear of the brewery not the front. A small downloadable PDF map and description would be good. Other than that an excellent tour and very good value.
