Amazing day at the competition today. Win or lose, our competitors showed fantastic skills and attitudes on (and off) the mat. With schools going back in a few weeks (possibly even starting a new school) have you considered them taking up a new hobby or a martial art? Look no further.
... We have a range of classes for ages 4 up to adults which promote increased health, fitness, confidence and skills, taught in a family-friendly environment on the SIXTH (top) floor of Pear Mill, postcode SK6-2BP.
If you know anyone who might be interested in karate, please let them know. Their first lesson is FREE and our fees are pay as you go with no silly contracts. Plus, throughout the rest of August and whole of September, if any new referrals come back for a second session following your recommendation, you too will get a free lesson upon their return.

Feeling very proud right now.
As a club we have raised... drum roll... £425 for Children In Need and smashed last year’s figure. Over the past few years we’ve now raised well over a thousand pounds for various charities.

Tonight and tomorrow is optional pyjamas or wear your own clothes to karate theme for CHILDREN IN NEED. We are asking for voluntary donations of £1 and will be selling snacks and raffle tickets (plus a football scratch card, prize is £30!) to help raise money. Hope to see you there!!!

So far we have raised £107 for Macmillan Cancer Support through cake and brew sales. This figure may creep up after the competition tomorrow (and any last minute donations next week) but this is a fantastic amount of money for a worthwhile cause.

The club is very friendly and I am proud to be a part of it! Sensei David puts a lot of hard work into the club and it definately pays off! Everyone is in it together! Its a big family!

Romiley karate is a great place to train, one place you'll want to leave your house for. I've trained here since I was 25 and loved it and still am. Good exercise, self defence, and confidence building, it's great for the kids and adults all ages x

Romiley Karate, is a very established club, who welcomes every new member. The time and effort put into the club by Sensei David is amazing. He is extremely dedicated to each and ever one of his members of all age groups and encourages each to train and achieve to their full potential. It is wonderful to see through hard work and commitment how the groups progress and move up through their grades, based on what they have learnt at the club, this is evident of the success rate of this club. Its great fun for all age groups as well giving discipline whilst you learn. The club promotes a very family friendly environment, where everyone enjoys getting involved even on fun days. Its great to be part of this club, a real buzz and wonderful atmosphere. My son has been training here over 2 years and although I do not personally train, I still feel part of it and am very proud of what he has achieved through the guidance, support and coaching he has been given from Sensei David. My son has been training here for 4yrs+ n loves it! Great club wiv confidence building and awesome karate training! Great atmosphere and family friendly

My son Ben was a complete beginner (aged 6) and started in Romiley Karate's 'kick-starter' group for younger students which train once a week, this gradual introduction was perfect and he really fell in love with the sport. When he was ready to progress Sensei David moved him on to the next level with older children which train twice a week. Ben enjoys his training so much, it been fantastic for my wife and me to see him progress and become more confident in his ability. We strongly recommend RK to any children or adults looking to learn a traditional form of Karate with a strong influence on discipline and hard work. Sensei David also managed to get the 9 times world champion, Wayne Otto to visit the club and train the students, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity for my son and an experience he still raves about!

My 8 year old was introduced to the club by a friend, he was shy, quiet and lacking confidence. A changed boy with thanks to romiley karate, he loves the club as much as I love bringing him

Lovely, friendly club with really dedicated leaders. Recognises and manages all different ages and abilities, cant rate highly enough.

I send my 2 boys here and both love it and have gained a lot of confidence as well as becoming more active.

I have been part of this club since I was four years old. I am now seven and a half and already have achieved my brown belt. Sensei David has helped me so much and he has encouraged me to enter competitions where I have won medals. To me, this is the best Karate club in Stockport, maybe even the world! I'm never going to stop doing Karate, maybe one day I'll be a sensei too. I have enjoyed being in this club so much because it is fun, I have learnt a lot and I have made lots of friends.

The healthy attitude to competition has meant the club has had great success as members feel they can join in to the level they wish without ever pressurised.

Great club! my 8 year old has been coming for 4 years, and it is a brilliant experience for him physically, but also for confidence and discipline, especially since he started doing tournaments. Pity Sensei Dave is a City fan, but apart from that it is all good!!

Excellent tuition from Sensei David and a great community spirit within the club generally. Family friendly with a strong focus on discipline, respect and training hard. Our 6 year old loves it!

Both my boys go to the club they Are 8 and 6. My youngest was 5 when he started and I was unsure but under Daves guidance he has learnt so much and my eldest has started to come out of his shell and is now so much more confident.

Absolutely fantantastic family orientated club! Sensai David Moon is a great instructor with equally great credentials! Having been to a few other clubs in the past I can honestly say that Romiley Karate is head and shoulders above the rest. I wouldn't take my daughter or go anywhere else. We love it!
