Today's strategic planning for the week ahead: Subscribed to Disney+ and found a milkman!
I've soaked up every last drop of peace and quiet in our house today before the home ed fun begins on Monday. I'm not a teacher, I still need to make our only income and it would appear Year One Maths is tricky! Juggle as we will, our sacrifices will be small compared to others and I'm sure we'll find unexpected opportunities in this strange time. #supportsmallbusiness #worklifejuggle #openforbusiness
Well done to the staff at Morrisons, Rochdale who are being so pleasant to huge amounts of customers. Bottles of water and chocs for those queuing and kindness to our elderly that brought tears to my eyes. #bekind #helpstaff #helpcustomers #loveispatient Morrisons Rochdale community champion
Big shout of to Pret! Well done!
Good PR from the National Trust, well thought through. Some excellent opportunities to get out safely. (if it ever stops raining!)
A full day of Coronavirus public relations for a variety of organisations, charities and businesses who are all affected in very different ways.
It's a tough time, but don't shy away from appropriate, accurate communication with customers and stakeholders.
Need some assistance? I'm happy to help.
Pleased to work with this budding new business! Likely to be one of their first customers too #gardenmakeover
Sad news that The Book People went into administration before Christmas. They do however have a monster clearance sale on right now: www.thebookpeople.co.uk
I've just ordered all our school's PTA books for Christmas prizes!
I've seen this float round a few tomes in the last few days, but it made me smile!
It's nice to see school's taking a different look on World Book Day this year. The various original themes are loosening the monopoly, rather dictating grip that the big chain stores have had on costumes and producing a fresh flair of imagination. Between a rabbit costume, a Toy Story themed story jar, a topic work make-your-own compass and soon to follow 3D map of the journeys of Christopher Columbus' travels, my Blue Peter skills have been stretched to their limit this week!
Anyway, it's World Book Day, what's your favourite book?
A promotional coup from McDonalds with freebies and extra value deals every day through the app. Given that January is probably a quieter month for the fast food tempters, these too good to miss treats are a great way of pulling customers in who will no doubt spend more whilst they are there. Judging from the queue in the drive thro to get my free bacon butty this mornng, I suspect it is encouraging high frequency of visits throughout the month too.
Amusing jump onto current affairs in this vacancy ad. #onthepulse
Busy, busy with social media accounts. Contact me if you need a fresh spark to your online presence.
The scones are still warm. Just saying.
Well done Greggs ππ The Pigs in Blankets Bagette was delicious in their Christmas menu.
Working from home doesn't pose this particular problem, but it made me laugh!
πWhen work involves mystery shopping. Oooh now that's fun π
