INTERMITTENT FASTING -
IF is a great tool, one I use sparingly on a day to day basis but only due to the fact that I wake up at 4:30am and the last thing I want to do is eat. Therefore I push my first meal to around 12pm. This isn’t proper IF, but it a variation. -
IF will shorten your calorie consumption window, but that doesn’t mean you will automatically be placed in a calorie deficit. You still need to be mindful about what and how much you are consuming within that timeframe. Yes, IF is good for its purpose but like everything, it is a tool.
How to stop binging on the weekend

If you are to overrestrict during the week this will result in you feeling like you earned a binge on the weekend. Instead, give yourself some leeway during the week and include moderate “treats” within your calories.

If you see your weight increasing within a few days, then it might not be an increase in fat. It could be water weight or just the amount of food you have consumed for that day.
