Well I was given a flower by a fellow shopper before I even bought anything. That was brilliant. I was looking for a dress found something I liked bought it - was served quickly and courteously at the checkout. Jobs a good in.

We really like Sainsbury's in Leigh

Just come back from Scotland and wanted to know why the diesel at Sainsbury's is 5 pence a litre more there than at ours?

User

Popped in at 8am for a crown and tooth out. Pav was amazing great dentist. Dentist is behind the tills in store

I've just got to say I visited your store today for the 1st time due to the half price toy sale, I'd been to others looking for a particular toy;

Well i looked around and couldn't find it and a young lady helped me to but no luck then Jacob entered my life

He went above and beyond today for me looking in stock room checking other store's even running out to find me after I'd left. .he found the toy I needed!! I told him he's made a 4yrs old Christmas and thanked him enormously

But I just wanted to tell what a fantastic job he dis today along with all the staff who tired to help me.. but Jacob went above and beyond THANK YOU again Jacob x

Hello, I'd like to pass on very special thanks to Emma and Aaron (mother and son) who work at your store in Leigh. They went well beyond the call of duty in taking very good care of my mum who had a funny turn in store this afternoon. She felt dizzy, faint and very unwell and was so touched by the care (chair, water, biscuits, compassion and company) that she received. They also insisted on taking her home when she asked if they would call a taxi. It really was wonderfully kind of them and as a daughter who lives many miles away I am grateful they were there to help today. What brilliant people to have on your team. Thank you so much, Kathie x

User

Picked up a few items in the sale saved 7o% did some shopping prices average. Then went for our lunch again good food. Only complaint cutlery wasn't that clean.

User

Nice store well layed out, always good clothes bargains. Cafe well priced with a good range of products

User

Always go there for breakfast when I come to visit my Grandson and family, always good. Staff have always been very helpful and friendly when I shop there

User

Visited today saw some dancers under the big banner for comic relief. Next to the table selling comic relief stuff. Donated some cash... Can you guess what the collection was for..... That's right not for comic relief at all. Not impressed

Popped in for brunch on a Saturday & was not impressed! Firstly there were no trays, the cold drink selection was diminished & the drinks available were not cold. Ordered our food & was advised there would be a 20 minute wait, which was fine as we weren't in a rush. On our brunch my lad is not a fan of the chips, as they are always dry, so he requested they were served separate to his brunch. I also purchased a children's sausage meal. Both brunches were disappointing. The sausages looked like they had been incinerated, the eggs thrown on the plate & had bust, the tomato & mushroom were raw & the chips chucked on top in a bid to hide mess underneath. When I raised it with the server he looked at me blank & scurried off to get the children's meal. Again this meal was appalling, there were two sausages that looked very much like cocktail sausages, a tablespoon of cold mash & a teaspoon of beans. Before I could even address it with the server he'd disappeared. Sometime later another server came to retrieve the sauces & asked if everything was ok with our food. I said no & she just stood there blankly staring at the plates. By this point i'd given up! However, the hot drinks ordered were ok, but milk is rationed. Some serious customer service training is needed & some cooking lessons wouldn't go a miss. A lot of staff about doing not a lot. Very poor by Sainsbury's standards.

Items pushed so far back on shelves I couldn't reach and no staff around to ask for help, I left without a few things.

Ran out of space on the belt, the cashier never offered any help!. I had to pack some things away then go back to putting things in the belt.

Not a good easy shopping experience 😡

It would be good if the cafe staff would be trained to make a decent latte. You ordered a latte, you pay for a latte but you drink a tasteless cup of hot milk

Can't get Toast after 11-30. No Napkins, No Forks asked twice still never got one, not easy eating a Mega Brunch with just a knife ! Bacon looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, certainly didn't taste fresh cooked.

Can understand why cafe is literally deserted. Plenty of staff but basics Cutlery, Napkins etc no excuses should be available. Might give it one more chance then it may be back to Morrisons I'm afraid.

Took my 5year old niece shopping she wanted something to eat ordered chicken nuggets half a jacket potatoe and peas couldn't believe it when it came don't think my dog would have eaten it.

This evening i went to sainsburys leigh. I nipped into the toilet and the metal big toilet roll holder fell off the wall on my wrist. I tried to stick it back and noticed it was stuck on with a bit of celotape.

I told the manager who said he would fix it. My arm is still killing though

User

Stopped selling Boddingtons, that's me done, I'm not shopping there, then going somewhere else for my cans of bitter.. Call yourself a supermarket?.. Poor showing.

If you buzz off cleaning your car with a dirty wet yard brush then this is the car wash for you.

It's the equivalent of dragging a dirty, wet labrador around the thing for 10 minutes and then to take it home and rewash so it's actually clean.

Now I'm off down the refugee camp and get them to do it.

Proper dog iron.
