I had a query about exchanging an old round pound coin. After speaking with the duty manager it became clear that they don't accept them. That's fair enough...but...

The young female customer service assistant appeared to find it amusing and continued to laugh towards me as I was discussing it with a senior member of staff. She moved along to the end of the counter, laughed with her friend and then both looked towards me giggling.

She still seemed amused by my "trivial" enquiry when she returned.

After confronting her, she suddenly became very defensive and remarked about being able to assemble many witnessess who would say she was not laughing at me.

What a strange response !!!

I feel she may need some further customer service training as mocking customers is very distasteful.

Great place for a coffee, comfy seating, we were just unlucky to be there while the ridiculously protracted fire alarm testing was taking place.

Just been to sainsbury caffe, orderd maccaroni cheese. Very disappinted with, iam sure that i was handed a microwaved sainsbury basic mac. Staff played a game of they dont have much info re recipe, never changed recipe. Iam a lover of sainsbury, regular customer and i do buy microwavable mac from here. So i know. U plated an 80p mac and u wont have guts to accept it.

I spent £68.69 in Sainsbury's (24/02/17 approx 4pm) I had £60 gift card, and gave the lady a £10 note to cover the remaining £8.69. I put my hand out for the receipt and the change and she hands me the gift card! I look at her (thinking why's she giving me my gift card back?) she said oh you should have said you wanted the change in money (instead of on gift card!!). I was so annoyed, just at the inconvenience of it. I love Sainsbury's, especially their clothes, but SERIOUSLY??!? Should I really have to say I want to pay £60 with my gift card and the remaining in cash, and I'd like my change in cash not on the gift card?????

Always go in and fruit and veg section always bare shelves, peppers have more wrinkles on them than people who live in the home over the road. Quorn section was dire only frozen. This branch has always been shocking and constantly leaving without getting everything I went in for. No wonder Aldi smash sainsburys.

Whilst buying lottery tickets yesterday I asked at the counter for my euromillions ticket to be checked. The lady told me it wasn’t a winning ticket and offered to put it in the bin. I suddenly thought “would you tell me if I’d won a couple of million???” So I said no I’d like it back please. Check the website today and it is a winning ticket. Hardly anything significant but warning to others. Check your own. I’m furious
