They had been held up on the M62 because of an accident. We had a really good night and look forward to their return

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Remembrance Day Service so special. To Danny Goodchild who chaired; Minister Janette Cookson for the first part and to her inspired Address; to Ruth Joseph for her demonstration of mediumship; to Danny and Richard for their Readings and Sid who brought in some remarkable war memorabilia of the First World War. You all did our church proud. The collection of £60 is being donated to Broughton House in Salford where they care for our veterans. Thank you to everyone who attended. With love Janette

The silhouette “There but not there” has arrived. Compliments of the Armed Forces Covenant Trust. It will be in church for all to see during the week leading up to Remembrance Day

On Sunday 11th November we will be opening the church at 3.30 to enable you to join us for a slice of cake an a cup of tea and to light a candle in memory of a loved one before our Remembrance Day Service which will be at 6.30pm. The Service will be conducted by Minister Janette Cookson. As well as commemorating the end of WW1 we will remember and honour all our Servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defending the right to freedom for all people. "They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."
