Went for our Anniversay last night and you didn’t disappoint, love the selection of seafood you offer the food was amazing and the restaurant setting is lovely, would definitely recommend and will be back soon �

We visited tonight for the 1st time for my Mums birthday and it was a beautiful evening. The restaurant is stunning, the food was delicious and the staff made our evening, so friendly and attentive. This restaurant I think will quickly become our new favourite.

We turned up without bookingr and they fitted us in even though they were clearly very busy .Lovely place great atmosphere and nice menu . I had two courses from the early evening fixed price menu which had a great choice. Portions we big and I couldn’t finish my main. Staff very friendly and I will recommend

Visited this place on a Saturday night with my husband for my birthday and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is amazing, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. When our starters were delayed we received a complementary appetizer. The food was truly delicious and both my husband and I tried something new and were not disappointed. After our meal we went and enjoyed some drinks in the bar downstairs where the same high level of service continued. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be going back.

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant, the building is light and airy and looks amazing. As for the food and service I could not fault it, loved it so much booked to come back on our way out of the restaurant!

Had the £25 buffet lunch on Sunday and it was fabulous. Well worth the money with a glass of prosecco on arrival and all you can eat buffet with freshly made pizza and pasta to order. Some tasty cakes and sweets for dessert too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return and recommend to friends 😊

Excellent service, great restaurant !! Best steak my husbands ever had ! Beware the mixed seafood starter is huge far too much for x2 people . Wish the waiter advised on the size . Lots left over . 

As a regular customer at grill on the square and las ramblas, I was eager to try the companies new Italian restaurant, San Lorenzo. I was not disappointed, we were greeted with the same fantastic service that we have become accustomed to at their other restaurants but was also wowed by the restaurant itself. Set over 2 floors in the old treasury building the restaurant is magnificent. The decor is opulent and it really felt like we were out for a special occasion despite the fact that we were just going out for tea midweek. The service is incredible and the attention to detail spot on. The food was fantastic, I have a severe nut allergy and my boyfriend is vegetarian so we are not the easiest customers but there was a great amount of choice on the menu and the waiters and chefs take allergies very seriously so I felt totally at ease. I would always choose to go to one of these lovely restaurants over going into Stockton Heath as I can not fault the service, the staff are genuinely warm, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It has a real personal touch which you just don’t get from a big chain.

Amazing! We went for my birthday on Friday 15 June. The service was excellent, food delicious and for quite a large area, the restaurant itself felt intimate and atmospheric... we absolutely loved it! Going back next week for the brunch with my girl friends and I cannot wait!!! xXx

Absolutely delicious and great atmosphere. Just returned from a lovely lunch with my husband and 2 year old and we could not fault the food. Lunch time menu is great for £5 and still has great choice. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely meal nice place food was delicious only thing is our table was not ready when we got there and the wait for the food was a bit long we got our main meal at 10.40 ish after our table being booked for 9pm that was the only disappointment but the food was lovely.

Came for the Sunday Feast for my birthday. Food was really nice and we liked the concept of the feast although within 5 minutes of ordering pasta, it arrived so I had to find some room for it on the table as I had hardly touched my starter! Plates were stacking up as the six of us digged in and I felt they weren’t cleared very quickly so we were kind of sat in a bit of a mess. The deposit I paid was also not taken off the bill so I had to query it and our table wasn’t ready for 25 minutes when we arrived (a long time when you have a four year old with you). Atmosphere was nice though, loved the jazz band and decor. Will go back.

Was really looking forwards to trying this place out. Visited yesterday for lunch and it has been done up beautifully. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The only disappointment was that whilst my husband wanted a normal main, I wanted to go with the pizza and prosecco for £20 offer. We were told this was only available if we both had it. This is not made clear at all on the menu. In the end my husband had the lamb and rigatoni which he very much enjoyed. I had the penne arrabiata which was tasty but could have done with some pepperoni rather than the chicken that is offered.

The building is beautiful and the food its self was nice, and the staff couldn’t do anymore for you...Although the overall experience was ruined by how hot it was it in the restaurant. It was so hot everyone was fanning themselves with menus and the excessive heat making me personally want to leave.



The heat in the restaurant also had a effect on the food what was set out as this was also warm (salads/ deserts /seafood ect....) I understand this cant be helped with the hot weather we are having at the moment but to have no air conditioning did spoil the overall experience for me.

Husband ordered from al la Carte menu & I from the pre-theatre early dining. His meatball starter was undercooked, the meat was pink/red in the middle. His main, calzone was also undercooked. We were told by the waiter when we complained, that it was the ‘type of dough’ we use! I had prawn avocado cold starter, so would have been difficult to mess that up & mushroom risotto which was ok, I’ve had better & worse! For the price, I was expecting more! Won’t be going back, & will stick to the Italian restaurant I know & love 🇮🇹

We were given a pizza and informed it was vegetarian (we even asked for it to be taken back to the kitchen to double check it was vegetarian) so I had a piece and it was in-fact a meat pizza with a spicy sausage base underneath the cheese. I have been vegetarian for 3 years and instantly felt sick after biting into this. No discount was offered and no food was taken off our bill. I have emailed twice asking for an apology/ recognition about the incident and to explain the importance of waiters/waitresses knowing which pizzas are veggie and which are not and have received no reply. Really disappointed.

Lovely building, lovely staff but..... are booking was at 4pm and they all seemed more interested in the people in there enjoying ‘prosecco n pizza for £20’......starter was cold, mains average.... relayed this to our server who didn’t seem bothered......paid bill and left, I was left feeling upset as was special occasion, don’t know if I’d return �
