'Friends of Hollingworth' is organising a fundraising meal at Sapore on Monday the 24th of September. The 7.30 sitting is now fully booked, however there are 11 tickets available for the first sitting at 6pm!

Welcome to Sapore! Chef Gianni and his staff are excited to announce that they are working hard to refurbish their new place and will soon be ready to provide fresh and authentic Italian dishes! Keep an eye on this page for more information and in the meantime, enjoy a preview of what you will soon be able to taste 😋

What can I say, I was disappointed when Gianni moved from Leek to Hollingworth as it was the best restaurant by a long way. We have had many good meals and brilliant times there. The atmosphere, service and food were always first class. A first for a restaurant was that the draught drinks and wine were always served at the correct temperature.

So, the other day we decided to visit the new establishment with a critical eye, but we were blown away. It is better, brighter and more pleasant if that is possible.

I was pleased to see some new items on the menu but my favourites were still there.

What can I say, Gianni? you, your family and staff go from strength to strength and provide a service and enjoyable food not seen in many establishments. Leek's loss is Hollingworth's gain, the locals should be very pleased, well done.

We used to visit Gianni’s restaurant in Leek, and I am delighted to say the new restaurant is just as good.

It was great to see the whole family there, and receive such a good welcome.

Just got back from a meal at Sapores what can I say the food was excellent the staff brilliant and I'm thoroughly stuffed. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

If you haven't booked yet I recommend you do so soon. We have just had an excellent meal. It was difficult to choose what to have as there are so many tempting dishes on the menu. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly. Have already booked my next visit!

Had a lovely meal here this afternoon, the kids loved it and we will definitely return.

Beautiful decor

Very professional staff and first rate service, kitchen staff hair covered and correct clothing worn ( which is not a given these days of jeans and jumpers in some kitchens )

Portion size quite large .so might be an idea to share a starter (a few were around £8 which is quite pricey for the area )

Perhaps a traditional Italian soup for a winter starter on the menu .
