Please check all your hedges and shrubs before cutting them or getting gardeners to cut them. It is nesting season.
We had a rather large hedge reduction booked in today but double checked it and a ringed dove has taken up residence. Strangest thing ever to have in its nest!

Been a hectic few weeks running understaffed unfortunately. Thank you to all my customers for your support and understanding with days changing etc.
Yesterday was a new client. Safe to say the big strimmer from STIHL had a work out but coped perfectly. X9 tonne bags + x2 green bins with just grass from three lawns.

Had a fair amount of messages from customers worried/wondering what's going on with the pink clouds on certain varieties of leylandii.
It's just the shrub/tree pollen and nothing to worry about. It's harmless unless you suffer from pollen allergies or have asthma.
The annoying dust can be tamed a little bit by lightly spraying down with a hosepipe.

The average day of a gardener 😁 not even busy season yet.

Here at S.D.P Gardens, we pride ourselves on attention to detail. Even our commercial grounds get a spring overhaul.

Please note we are on call all day for unsafe trees or broken fences. 💦💨

Looks like today is going to be another washout. 💦💨

Unfortunately, the weather has really changed yet again ( good old English weather ). This will affect the number of maintenance jobs we can do next week.
We do not cut lawns when the weather is so unpredictable as can cause more harm than good.
