We realised some time ago that the world of recruitment needing shaking up a bit. To our eyes, the job landscape was very ‘bottom heavy’. By which we mean that of all the people that might be a good fit for a job vacancy, only a small fraction of them would actually be looking for a new role.

We thought ‘wouldn’t it be good if there was a way to talk to everyone who could do the job and see if they were interested?’

Not to simply focus on the ‘passing trade’ of current jobseekers but to tap people on the shoulder, say ‘sorry to disturb you, but have you thought about a new job, because this one here is right up your street’…and so SearchWorks came about, dedicated to identifying ‘passive candidates’ giving you a much deeper pool of people to choose from.

The team behind SearchWorks comprises recruitment research professionals, led by Richard Fairclough-Rushton. Richard has ten years experience finding candidates for a wide variety of professional and executive roles covering many different functions and sectors.
