We was in the shoe department looking for some Gucci trainers for my granddaughter's birthday, the sales staff couldn't do enough to help us find the right ones for her, my daughter was full of praise for the staff helping us

Was there yesterday we got a lot of bargains this is my favourite store in the Trafford centre Would like to see more art and crafts .

From going away to checking stock to calling me back as promised, your service has been much appreciated! I'm sorry for calling you constantly but each time you have answered,you have been extremely courteous, professional and friendly, and going above and beyond in providing me with options to save me making the trip to TC. Thank you very very much! When I do decide to brave a trip to TC, I will be calling by to thank you personally! �

Stone Island staff Olly and Nico went above and beyond our expectations trying to locate a jacket, also recommended Flannels.

Much better than Tessuti Trafford centre who tried to sell the same jacket with a whole in where the security tag was, no reduced discount, very rude manager. the faulty item was to be placed back on the shop floor.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to a member of your staff in the Trafford Centre Store who helped myself and my fiancé in helping pick out a wedding perfume and aftershave.

Something so simple yet we had no clue and after trying a few we felt completely lost for choice. Then Nicola came over and offered her help, after speaking to us for a few minutes she knew what kind of things we liked and didn’t, she took us over to every section of the store suggesting different brands. She went above and beyond for us and we both walked out without making a final decision yet both felt like it had been a successful trip as we had so many different options to choose from. In such a big store I just wanted to pass on some positive feedback about an amazing member of your staff.

I was in Selfidges today when my screaming 6 month old needed nursing, so I sat down on a sofa by the collection desk area. Within 2 minutes one of the ladies on the desk offered me a pillow and a further employee offered and brought me a glass of water. The staff could not have been nicer! With everything that is going on in the world right now, these small acts of kindness are exactly what we need. Those members of staff are a credit to the company and they made nursing my son so much easier. Exellent customer service. Thank you so so much. �

I regularly go shopping here but today was my daughters 4th birthday and I had bought her to the Trafford centre to treat her to a couple more presents and afternoon tea. I had been browsing around the Coach handbags and was making a decision as to whether to purchase one or not, which I of course, after much deliberation, did. But what stood out today was that while I was debilitating over whether to buy a blue one or a cream one the 3 sales assistants were happily chatting away to my daughter and kept a smile on there faces while she opened up all her bags and showed them all her new things. They never once dismissed her or acted un interested, instead the young man was actually knelt on the floor with her and chatting away with her. Once I had purchased my bag and had it wrapped up in the famous yellow cardboard bag, I was then totally over whelmed when the young sales girl handed my daughter a stuffed and sealed small cardboard bag so that my daughter could match her mummy. As a mother I can't tell you what a difference this made to my experience today and how much it meant to me to have my little girl so looked after. It really made her day and she walked around proudly with her own Selfridges bag. Unfortunately I never got the sales members names but I hope that they will be identified and this passed on to them as I truly believe they deserve the recognition. I can't wait for my next visit.

I literally love you Selfridges. And I don't care who I admit that to. I skip out of the store with my big food hall bag and little yellow gift card bag and everything is alright in the world. Fickle I know but I don't care. All my spare cash goes on Selfridges vouchers to spend when I have enough at Jo Malone counter. And Matthew the Manager there NEVER Fails to make me think I'm the only customer, spending quality time with me and sharing his knowledge and love of the brand with me knowing I'll only have a little to spend but that never seems to bother him. Yesterday was no exception...ignore the serial complainers (of which I'm often one at say John Lewis!!!) as I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Selfridges...and Jo Malone:) xxx

I had I wonderful experience with the Gucci team. I was made to feel extra special for my birthday I can’t thank them enough and the card I have just received of the team is fantastic they really do go the extra mile. ����

I bought a necklace from “one letter at a time” which was stunning. Tim and (apologies I don’t know the other gentlemans name) were so professional. They also made the extra effort of getting my 3 year old a birthday card written out to him (Lincoln) and some sweets as it is his 3rd Birthday. So thoughtful and a special touch so thank you! xxxx

I Love Selfridges Specially the bags Gucci and Dermalogica Products plus Dior...one of the Lady in Dior Called Zainab...Zenny done my Beautiful make-up yesterday I Love it..they are very helpful and Friendly even Hannah and i couldn't complain at all..plus Yo Sushi my fav foods...thank you Selfridges Trafford Centre...���.

Highly recommend MAC makeup and their service, treated my daughter and her friends like princesses on her birthday makeover 💄💄💄 friendly, welcoming and glam! Thank you to Dani and her team.

Hi yesterday I had the Golden Goddess applied by Samreen at the Charlotte Tilbury counter at Selfridges Trafford Centre. Just to let you know she is a credit to the team. She was lovely and really listened to what I wanted. She explained all the products and how to use them in a very clear and easy to understand way. If you do employee of the month etc. then she’s the one. Thanks again

Fantastic service by Bethany on the Estée Lauder counter yesterday. My skin is not looking it's best at the moment, I'm so tired! After chatting with Bethany about my skin care regime and my sleepless nights with my eight month old, Bethany gave me a mini facial and then applied some new makeup for me. I'm so happy with my Advanced Night Repair and make up. I really felt that Bethany listened to me and advised me that it's better to start with the foundations and get my skincare regime right and then my makeup. Estée Lauder will now be my first stop at Selfridges! Thank you Bethany, after a nice day shopping for the children, you gave me some 'me' time and I love the Advanced Night Repair. I will be back to see you next weekend!!

Excellent wine tasting. Very well organised and a good selection of wines to taste. The layout of the venue is the best I have been to. I have been to several in the past. For a mother's day tasting it looked fabulous . Thank you

Big thank you to toby from the technology part I have looked everywhere for a Nintendo switch an I mean everywhere well anyway I put on.Facebook can anyone tell me were I can get one an someone said the Trafford so I rang up toby you saved.my life lol my son as not long been out of hospital hes recovering from a very big bowel operation an is having another operation tomorrow hes also autistic well I promised him a Nintendoswitch an couldn't get hold of one toby listend an told me he would hold the very last one back so thanks again you made his nite :)

This is about the Creed stand in Trafford Centre Selfridges. I went to the stand as I wanted to try some of the fragrances they have on offer and wanted to smell some of them the guy on the 30/11/17 at between 1pm and 2pm started off helpful and advised me to try the aventus on my skin so I pulled my sleeve to my new Belstaff jacket and told him to not spray it on it as I don’t want it to smell of an aftershave I haven’t bought and don’t want as everyone has it. He proceeds to spray 3 squirts all the way up my arm soaking my jacket. I was in disbelief and just walked off. I wore the jacket last night and it stinks of aventus which isn’t my favourite creed to say the least. I am appalled by the service this guy gave just the way he completely ignored me telling him not to spray it all over my jacket. The reason I am giving two stars and not one is because the rest of Selfridges has always been very good and helpful. I never make complaints but I feel I have to after feeling very let down and annoyed when I left. After all isn’t retail all about customer service??????

Waiting three week for a refund. Shame it doesn't take my payment three week to hit your account.

Very disappointed with customer services. After numerous emails to and from customer services no one seems to have grasped what my complaint is about . Visiting Manchester recently I impulse bought a mulberry bag which I may add I'm very happy with . The problem is that the online price was over a £100 cheaper than the in store price . Having spoken to customer services on the telephone I was asked to email my receipt and complaint to customer services . I was hopeful from the tone of the conversation of a resolution, however after numerous emails all of which have been responded to by different people not only has no one grasped the complaint but I feel I have been fobbed off . The final email stated that selfridges checks icompetitors prices does not do price matches in its stores . Not what the complaint was about . If only someone had read all the emails that had been sent between both parties! An altogether disappointing customer experience . I I would question the stores mission statement regarding customer satisfaction . Wont be visiting again .

So very disappointed with the customer service I received today in your beauty department specifically at Huda Beauty counter.

Having checked that you stock Huda Beauty’s Faux Filter foundation we made a special journey to your store today.

At the Huda Beauty counter I explained I wanted to purchase the foundation an assistant sat me down to do a colour match. She used a baby wipe to remove my makeup from one side of my face and then explained they didn’t have all the testers in stock and that she didn’t think they would have the shade I needed, she then tried 2shades on me that were clearly too light and dark before telling me “yeah they don’t match and the 4 shades in between aren’t available in testers”

She then handed me a wipe before leaving the counter and leaving me a mis match of the wrong shades of foundation!

There was no real interest in my purchase, there was no apology for not having my desired shade in stock, she didn’t clean away the wrong shades that she had tried on me, and surely if she could tell from looking at ny coloring they wouldn’t have the right match explain that before wiping of half my own make up!! I was forced to take of all my makeup and walk round the rest of the day very self conscious bare faced �

Shopped here recently and bought my girlfriend some very expensive shoes (£525!). The shoes didn’t feel comfortable, so were returned to the city centre store. This is where we were informed we had been sold ‘tester’ shoes and that the sizes were completely wrong. We have now got the right pair of shoes and perfect fitting thanks to the city centre store. Won’t be returning to Trafford Selfridges again for products. Be wary folks.

Shoes returned to Trafford store on 29/12 for exchange. Returned for refund in accordance with advice given by the Customer Service Team and replacement item (correct size) purchased to complete exchange. Still refusing to issue refund on 17/01 despite my forwarding receipt for return as requested? Several phone calls and emails and a formal complaint and only response is “we’re looking into it”. Still £495 out of pocket! Last thing I expected from Selfridges �

Update 19/01/18 - still no refund heading into 22 days. No worthwhile information of any sort. Disgraceful!!

Shocking customer service , didn't want to help atall , do not care about there customers what so ever ! Trainers that lasted just over a week , and won't do nothing about it £500 wasted and there not one bit sorry

I purchased a charm from the Links of London counter for my mums 70th Birthday only for the sales asst to ‘chuck’ it in a tiny box. She was made fully aware of the significance of the charm. I will definitely avoid Links in Selfridges in future.

I can not believe the absolute disgraceful customer service I have received from both the TC store & Selfridges itself. From such a well respected store I’m mortified!! I have been awaiting/chasing a refund for 3weeks, been lied to & to top it off today been blamed and told it is my fault for the delay.



I made x2 separate orders via the ‘click & Collect’ Trafford Centre - it states on the email they hold the items for 7 days and then if not collected it will be returned. So it’s should of been refunded on the 07/01 I hadn’t heard anything & so I have been chasing ever since I’ve been told a refund was being processed only to ring again & be told my items were awaiting collection.

The reason I couldn’t collect my items were because of family & unforeseen circumstances so to be to say I’m hurt is an understatement.



As not only a customer but an ex-employee of Selfridges I must stress my dismay & disappointment at such low level of customer service.

Brought my daughter a billie blush " raincoat"today put it on her and she sucked on the zip which was pink she was in it for a whole of five minutes and the pink had ran on to her dress underneath so now her white dress is pink.
