SER is a professional furniture painting service, using a variety of high quality products and techniques, based in northwest Cumbria.

Shabby English Rose was established in Nov' 2015 by Gayna Lyons-Illingworth, born out of a passion for creating beautiful restyled, refurbished, restored, furniture and home accessories. This is achieved with various techniques such a paint-effects, decoupage, image transfer and upholstery. We also take commission work, so if you have a beloved piece of furniture that has been in your family for a long time but looks out of place in your home, we can update it for you and make it beautiful again. We have four years experience in restoring furniture to a very high standard and pride ourselves in a very professional finish on every project we undertake.
