Now, you'll understand that personally I'm normally your typical Sauvignon Blanc kind of a chap; and I'll enjoy a glass most days whether that be our kiwi 'Great Wave' or our Frenchie 'Brise' If I'm honest, the truth is that after trying Jason's fresh passion-fruit blended with Hobbs Gin with a generous splash of Hobbs Rhubarb & Ginger Liqueur, a gentle squeeze of li...me then topped up with perfectly chilled Prosecco. I'll simply carry on enjoying a glass of SB all the same thank you.very much. Now get me wrong, it's refreshing, light, seriously tangy, well made and delightful - but Sauvignon Blanc it isn't. Now here’s a thing that not everyone knows about, but from very positive guest feedback is well worth mention.
We don’t add a ‘service charge’ to your bill, never have, never will. We don’t care for it when it happens when we dine out and don’t know many who do. If you decide to leave a gratuity then rest assured it is shared with the whole wonderful team without any deduction.
... Paul and I have always had this policy since we opened our first Shellfish Cow.
Most will know that we, and our restaurants thrive on doing things a little differently - how refreshing!

Our new best friends at the most brilliant Hobbs of Henley have very kindly introduced us to their very own 'Mother's ruin' or as they prefer Mr Hobbs Gin - we've tried several this afternoon and found the perfect mixer - a splash of bitter lemon, a small splash of course. We've cogitated, ruminated and deliberated, listened to our lovely guests and had a good old-fashioned natter in the board-room of Shellfish Centraaal - Wallingford.
