We recently visited the sher akbar resturant in cholton with friends and enjoyed a sit indian meal all curry was delicious and grill food as well. I would like to mention one more thing staff are very friendly and helpful.

We are local and always have used Sher Akbar for our family events. They offer great indian cuisines including our hot favorites lamb karahi and the mega platter for 8. The taste is always on point and it's great value for money. Highly recommended

The service and the food was excellent, especially the garlic naan, best naan I've had.

Really Awesome Food and a very lovely ambience and homely atmosphere. The staff at Sher Akbar is really putting there effort to customer satisfaction. Obviously a place not to miss out while you are in Manchester.

I visited this restaurant with my family on recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome the waiters were all very attentive even though it was rather busy, you could not fault the service. The menu was interesting and varied. ALL dishes were superb, the spices were delicate and fresh and I was very impressed by the authenticity and skill shown in the preparation of our food. I would highly recommend!!!!

I use this restaurant for any family gathering. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing with modern look crossed wiyh hints of shabby chic, the food is of a high standard and served in big portions.

The manager Tariq has always accommodated any needs or wants I have asked for and taken the stress off if I couldn't decorate or organise fully myself.

The price is perfect and affordable even for the middle of chorlton.

The staff are warm and welcoming and I have nothing but a love for this place and all involved in making it what it is. It's a home from home and we'll continue to go back and encourage others to do the same.

Amazing. Got a takeaway and the lamb especially to die for! Everything was lush well worth the extra few quid !!

Amazing restaurant. Food and service faultless. Our waiter was extremely helpful with his recommendations and we had a truly delightful experience. Unlike other Indian reataurants the meat was high quality, tender and fragrant. The bespoke ginger sauce which had been put together for me was exquisite. Will definitely be returning there in future. Decor too was very tasteful.

I used to absolutely love this place! However ordered a take just before Christmas. Checked my e receipt when I got home and the total was £47 for a takeaway for 2. Over charged by around £20. Rung to address the issue and never have I been spoken to so rudely by a member of staff informing me he was apparently the new manager but there was nothing he would do about this as the business owners had changed that same week. Despite this, quality of food was great and despite my encounter with the apparent 'new manager' every experience I have had with other members of staff there previously have been great. Overall disappointed re this and has unfortunately put me off retuning!

Used to visit here often when it opened but sadly the food and service has been nothing less than disappointing during our visits recently. We often walk past and it empty which tells you everything.
