Love ❤ going staff great 5 star . Some films could be put on better times as we have missed some we have wanted to see! And would like to see prices put on offers more. But overall a fantastic night out for all. Well worth going out to see that film on the big screen at the showcase Manchester.

It's my local and I always try to go here if possible to see films. Unlike other cinemas it's never packed and there's plenty of free parking space. Refreshments are a little overpriced, but what cinemas aren't?

User

Great cinema, free parking, friendly staff and the food was great too

User

Comfortable. Convenient. Helpful staff.

User

Cinema very clean welcoming and warm ! Hot chocolate delicious 😋 toilets a plenty with high standard of cleanliness and piped music 🎶 staff warm and friendly and professional xx quite a large place too xx will return soon

User

No problems what so ever, I never purchase anything from here because the prices are to expensive, always wait till I get out and take the kids to macdonalds much cheaper, although they would still have the same amount spent on food if not more if it was more cheaper

User

It's nice enough but the cost to watch 3D makes visiting regular impossible for a lot of people I'll bet especially with a big family, the food wasn't to bad price wise considering although it's not cheap otherwise not to bad at all star. Mostly friendly the woman on the front desk where you buy tickets was so miserable there are worse jobs to have love.

It could do with a bit of a make over and modernising. The prices are quite steep for what it is, but the chairs were very comfortable.

It's also one of the few cinemas that didn't seem to be too loud or go very cold in the middle of the film

I liked the style of the cinema, took me back to my childhood. The cinema was clean and tidy, the toilets were immaculate too. A few things spoiled the film for us, firstly no where to put your overpriced drink except the floor (which was clean), secondly we could hear the film playing in the screen next to ours and at a quiet pinnacle during the film we were watching we heard police sirens outside. Apart from that we enjoyed our visit. I would return as it is cheaper during the week than anywhere else I've seen, staff were nice and seats were comfy!

User

Great place had a few good times here absolutely werth it's value

User

Easy to book tickets, easy to get in, nice surround, quality screen

User

The film was ace "Games night", very entertaining.

But Screen 1 in the cinema had a very unpleasant musty smell.

Deffo needed a better clean and lots more air freshener.

User

Not worth what you pay for, food and drink is expensive so ease take your own, nachos are just shop Aldi bought one but seats are comfy, no where to put ur drinks apart from Floor

User

I would have given it 5*'s for the staff. They where friendly, engaging, helpful and patient. What drags this place down is its shabby - and not in a chic way!!! My arm rest fell off, there was nowhere to put the overpriced, awful coffee I'd bought just before going in. Comfy chairs though and plenty of leg room. Shame the music from the screen next door could be heard very clearly spoiling the viewing pleasure. Dx

Can’t fault customer service. Second to none.. but Jesus Christ the place can do with a refurb!!! Still Got the same seats from last time I went which was 1999!!! Felt like I needed a bath after sitting on them. Can imagine that the cast of “A Bugs Life” reside here all round. I’m pretty sure there was a guy on the back row touching himself as he came alone and made wierd grunting noises which I found quite disturbing and can still hear them in my nightmares. The floor was sticky like it hadn’t been mopped since the release of Titanic. Hate to think what sort of fluids were on that floor.

But overall, we had a great time 😬

I’m so disappointed. I remember coming here to see my first film. It was Terminator 2. That shows you how long ago my first visit was. It’s in desperate need of a refurb. It’s almost the same as it was all those years ago. The staff look miserable and the snacks and food on offer was overpriced for what it was. Luxury popcorn charged at 4.50 that was Supposed to be fresh was stale and not very nice at all. The place was quite empty but we’ve just had bad weather so maybe that was the issue Friday night! I’m a regular user of cineworld but I wanted to give my local cinema a try again. I won’t be using showcase again. There are so many things that need improving.

I am disappointed, I’ve been coming here since being a child. I’ve been a few times recently now, I would hate to see this place shut down, but if you don’t do something with your pricing... I won’t be coming back. £70 for a 2 hour film at the cinema and that includes using my insider card. (Including snacks) for 4 people is ridiculous. The VUE (print works) will out take the showcase and it will be a shame. Something needs to be done with pricing! Make it cheaper and more people will use the cinema!

Been going to Showcase since it opened, yet this time i was disappointed with my experience. I ordered a hotdog that looked burn (must have been on the cooker for ages), thankfully it tasted ok but not worth the money I paid for it. I was then not impressed with the screening room. I had to change seats twice as the springs in the cushions were digging in me. Then I got distracted from the movie as god know how many times staff walked into the screening room to go behind the screen. It was like every 10 minutes.😡😡 Then to top it off, the area behind our seats were full of popcorn and rubbish that had been there god knows how long. 😡😡

Went to the showcase with my 2 daughters on Friday 14th April And I wast happy with the service I had to pay for my one year old daughter that isn't even able to sit on the seat herself this left me to have less money to get sweets and stuff so my girls ended up having to share as I couldn't go bank or I would of missed the film this ruined our day out I will not be attending this picture house again !!!!
