Kay developed an interest in facial massage after several visits to the Far East. She completed her groundwork studies becoming a qualified Swedish Massage therapist before going on to study the art of Japanese Face Massage enabling her to indulge her growing passion for the rejuvenating effects these ancient techniques can have on the skin and muscular structure of the face. A number of sessions on a regular basis can be particularly beneficial, as the muscles tighten and the appearance of the skin begins to improve. The application of gentle pressure to the tsubos or pressure points along the facial meridians is said to stimulate both health and beauty by balancing energy flow within the body thereby creating radiance within the face. After experiencing this deeply relaxing treatment, many clients report feeling as though they have had a full body massage.
After extensive research Kay has now introduced facial beauty treatments, using a range of luxurious plant based products, rich in natural and organic ingredients infused with essential oils which are especially kind to the skin, cruelty free, friendly to the environment and based on renewable ingredients. The formulations have been created to work in harmony with the skin’s metabolism, with sensitivity to the needs of individual skin types and conditions.
After completing further studies in London in 2012, Kay obtained a Diploma from the Instituto de Reflexologia, Barcelona gaining a deeper understanding of facial reflexology.
Based on her knowledge and experience, Kay has now created a single luxurious treatment combining a pampering cosmetic facial with the deeply relaxing Japanese Face Massage bringing a new and holistic approach to health and beauty.
