Aren't these lips just gorgeous? Dr Ahmed used a cannula to achieve this plump and pouty look, all whilst not looking overdone. This client already had perfect definition and a contoured border, so cannula was the best fit for her to achieve the volume she wanted.

NEEDLE v CANNULA: What is my best option??
The delivery of Dermal Filler can be achieved using a needle or blunt tipped cannula, and an experienced clinician should be able to use both.
Although a cannula may look daunting, the well-rounded tip makes it far less traumatic and dangerous when injecting, as it is less likely to hit and block an artery.
... A cannula also reduces bruising, redness, swelling and pain during and post procedure.
So why would I want a needle to be used, we hear you ask.
The benefits of using a needle are accuracy. Needles are also easier to use at extremes of depth, making them more effective at shaping structures such as the chin and cheeks and treating fine lines.

Went in today for a consultation and was a little sceptical. I left feeling happy the results are very nice and subtle, just how I hoped they would be. Today I had a non surgical nose job which is basically having filler injected into the nose this was to straighten a prominent bump in my nose which I've always been deeply unhappy with, Dr aimee did the procedure for me and I couldn't be happier with the result. The whole process went smoothly and was enjoyable thanks to the staff at the clinic putting me at ease and making me feel welcome . And above all Dr aimee who was friendly, professional and clearly fantastic at what she does. Thanks so much Dr aimee and the skinviva team, I'm so happy and confident with my new look :)

So far, I have completed 4 courses with SkinViva. Overall, training methods and delivery are excellent. However, half of these courses have been instructed by Dr Ahmed. Not only does he make you feel comfortable about where you are experience wise he is capable of focusing in on your individual developmental needs in order for you to get the absolute most out of each course. A fabulous asset to the SkinViva team. My next course with him is already booked.

I went here just yesterday (23/07/2018) to have the non surgical rhinoplasty, I was very nervous and feeling a bit apprehensive but from walking through the door the receptionist was very welcoming and made me feel at ease.

Sat in the lovely waiting area Dr Ahmed came through to call me himself, he was so warm and friendly he talked me through absolutely everything making sure it's what I want the procedure itself wasn't painful at all. I couldn't wait to see my new nose :)

I was and still am completely overwhelmed by the results I literally left here will a spring in my step lol before this treatment I was a really bad mirror dodger :( now I can't help myself I stop and look every chance I get mirrors, shop window reflections, phone selfies haha :)

I visited Dr Ahmed on the 14th April with tear trough fillers in mind. I was very nervous about the treatment as it is was in my eye area and concerned the results wouldn't be what I wanted. From start to finish Dr Ahmed treated me like a friend, not just a client. I didn't feel pushed into anything , which I have experienced in the past. I have just completed the foundation course for Botox and dermal fillers with doctor Adam...the course was fantastic... Although only a day you get to do lots of hands on and learn knowledge throughout the day...I have spent weeks reading over the theory and today been able to put what I had learnt into practice...although nervous to start off with I was well supported through out and now feel confident to put what I have learnt on the course into practice...the lunch provided was also great...I can't wait to do the lips and cheeks course.

I completed the lips and cheeks combined course with Dr.Ahmed and could not speak highly enough of my experience. I have attended a number of courses, and found the Skin Viva training to be exceptional.

Initially, I was impressed with the level of detail in the pre course material and the preparation it offered for the course. On the day of training, I found the clinic to be very well presented and welcoming, with credit to Sammi who sources the large number of models we trained with. My mentor, Dr.Ahmed, was world class and very keen to enhance our skill set. His level of knowledge is incredible, but his ability to communicate effectively has really made a difference to my confidence in providing safe, patient specific lip and cheek procedures. Following the training day, we have access to an online community which offers ongoing support and learning opportunities.



I would recommend Skin Viva to clinicians at any stage of their aesthetics career, and look forward to attending more courses soon.

Completed the lip and cheek enhancement combined course yesterday with the very energetic but lovely Dr Ahmed...absolutely loved it! Far exceeded my expectations, I started the day a little apprehensive about lips but by the end of the day I now can’t wait to get started on them. Dr Ahmed was a fabulous teacher I would definitely recommend him, all the staff are great..such a welcoming atmosphere, really puts you at ease. The intense practical element of all the courses that skinViva provides ensures you will then go out and deliver safe, beautiful treatments to a top class standard. Went in today for a consultation and was a little sceptical. I left feeling happy the results are very nice and subtle, just how I hoped they would be. I Would like to thank the staff for being very kind and helpful. Most of all a big thank you to Dr.Ahmed what a genius. Will be coming back to see him again with out a shadow of doubt.

Today I had a non surgical nose job which is basically having filler injected into the nose this was to straighten a prominent bump in my nose which I've always been deeply unhappy with, Dr aimee did the procedure for me and I couldn't be happier with the result. The whole process went smoothly and was enjoyable thanks to the staff at the clinic putting me at ease and making me feel welcome . And above all Dr aimee who was friendly, professional and clearly fantastic at what she does. Thanks so much Dr aimee and the skinviva team, I'm so happy and confident with my new look :)

So far, I have completed 4 courses with SkinViva. Overall, training methods and delivery are excellent. However, half of these courses have been instructed by Dr Ahmed. Not only does he make you feel comfortable about where you are experience wise he is capable of focusing in on your individual developmental needs in order for you to get the absolute most out of each course. I went here just yesterday (23/07/2018) to have the non surgical rhinoplasty, I was very nervous and feeling a bit apprehensive but from walking through the door the receptionist was very welcoming and made me feel at ease.

Sat in the lovely waiting area Dr Ahmed came through to call me himself, he was so warm and friendly he talked me through absolutely everything making sure it's what I want the procedure itself wasn't painful at all. I couldn't wait to see my new nose :)

I was and still am completely overwhelmed by the results I literally left here will a spring in my step lol before this treatment I was a really bad mirror dodger :( now I can't help myself I stop and look every chance I get mirrors, shop window reflections, phone selfies haha :)

Dr Ahmed is a truly talented man and I highly recommend him to all my family & friends and anyone who will listen haha

I visited Dr Ahmed on the 14th April with tear trough fillers in mind. I was very nervous about the treatment as it is was in my eye area and concerned the results wouldn't be what I wanted. From start to finish Dr Ahmed treated me like a friend, not just a client. I didn't feel pushed into anything , which I have experienced in the past. He was lovely but really professional and knew his stuff! He spoke me through absolutely everything, gave his honest opinion and put my mind completely at ease. Thus I went ahead with the treatment. It was completely painless, quick and afterwards I was so shocked and pleasantly pleased with the results. I couldn't believe the before and after pictures we took! Super happy with my results, will definitely be returning here , on my departure I did speak with Dr Ahmed about a few future treatments I wish to have with them and I cannot wait to go back. I saw Dr Aimee today for the 3rd time this year. Twice for Botox & once for Derma Filler and I can not recommend her enough!

I sit down in front of her & tell her what I don’t like about my face & she just works her magic! She’s always completely honest about what I can expect from my treatments but has certainly not disappointed me at all.

I find her to be both very professional but extremely approachable! She really makes you feel at ease & confident in her abilities!

I have just completed the foundation course for Botox and dermal fillers with doctor Adam...the course was fantastic... Although only a day you get to do lots of hands on and learn knowledge throughout the day...I have spent weeks reading over the theory and today been able to put what I had learnt into practice...although nervous to start off with I was well supported through out and now feel confident to put what I have learnt on the course into practice...the lunch provided was also great...I can't wait to do the lips and cheeks course.

I completed the lips and cheeks combined course with Dr.Ahmed and could not speak highly enough of my experience. I have attended a number of courses, and found the Skin Viva training to be exceptional.

Initially, I was impressed with the level of detail in the pre course material and the preparation it offered for the course. On the day of training, I found the clinic to be very well presented and welcoming, with credit to Sammi who sources the large number of models we trained with. My mentor, Dr.Ahmed, was world class and very keen to enhance our skill set. His level of knowledge is incredible, but his ability to communicate effectively has really made a difference to my confidence in providing safe, patient specific lip and cheek procedures. Following the training day, we have access to an online community which offers ongoing support and learning opportunities.



I would recommend Skin Viva to clinicians at any stage of their aesthetics career, and look forward to attending more courses soon.

She was so friendly and genuine the whole time, and her confidence in the procedure made me barely even nervous at all! On top of that, she could answer any question I had and created the exact outcome that I wanted with the procedure. I would absolutely recommend paying her a visit, she is fantastic. Following consultation with Dr Ahmed, initially with the view to have tear trough treatment, I also opted for cheek enhancement to support the TT. Dr Ahmed is a pleasure to be with; he is professional, enthusiastic, honest and highly experienced with a wealth of knowledge in the field. There was no pain throughout the treatment itself, only minimal swelling and no bruising afterwards. I'm really impressed with the results. Thank you to Dr Ahmed who is a credit to SkinViva!

Having trained with several other companies before I can honestly say I won't be going anywhere else from now on! Skinviva and Sharan have me hooked. The enthusiasm from the whole team, the professionalism of the girls organising the events, the continuous flow of tea, and the encouragement of the super supportive Sharan made the day fantastic. And that was before I started on the Facebook group where I have spent hours looking at what everyone is up to, learning from other comments and gaining confidence that there is support out there. Dr Sharon was amazing I could not recommend a better clinican or person to do treatments. I went for one procedure (my nose) and after my consultation we realised that was not the issues and went for a tear trough procedure. She was 100% honest, safe, caring and correct, I feel amazing and she has made a massive difference to me, I used to hide behind my glasses due to my under eye area and now I feel like I can go without them when I choose!
