I collected a shopping basket on the way in, i didnt use it because by the time i had sorted all my purchases out the staff had took my goods to the till ready for me to collect & pay, Staff were incredibly helpful, one team member spoke to my daughter on the phone whilst checking stock levels to ensure I (grandma) was buying the correct products for my grandson for xmas, well done SMYTHS x

Guys, think you need a better process when sought after toys are in demand. This morning it was handbags at dawn for the LOL big surprise. You only had 2 in stock - with 20 people outside. The alpha female kicked off to an extent, that one woman who got one gave in and let her have it. To avoid this, have a team member give numbered tickets - and save yourself some Sunday morning blues. Staff were great BTW, and I got everything else on my list!

Good service tonight at Smyths, but the toilets were disgusting. Was told by the manager that it doesn't matter, the cleaners will be in tomorrow morning. Sorry, but that's not the response that a customer should hear. Get your rubber gloves on abc clean it!!!!!

Worst customer services ever. Really arrogant security guard with no manners.

Today we travelled to our local Smyths Toy Super store in Bury. My 3 children were excited to join in all the free activities and recieve the gifts and an easter Egg.

We arrived at the store at 11.45am and were told they had run out of easter eggs so they had already done the easter egg hunt and couldn't do another. Then i asked if they still had the free gifts they had advertised...again nope sorry they have all gone.

They had one candy floss machine with a line queuing down the aisle and a facepainter with an equally large que. Granted i expected it to busy with all the free merchandise on offer. But for there to be nothing left at all just short of 2hrs into a 6 hr event is very poor and very disappointing to say the least.

My daughter wanted to spend her birthday money, so we bought some things for her and left.

I could understand if we had turned up 5hrs into the event, that there would be very little left. But under 2 hrs in that is poor, especially with all the advertising you did to draw people in. My 3 children left upset and had we not been buying some bits for my daughters birthday it would have been a complete and utter wasted journey.

I appreciate it was all FREE and with that in mind if you do something similar again please make sure you are prepared enough that 2hrs in to a 6hrs event you haven't got children leaving dissapointed.
