The magic of "Spirit of Avalon Tours" (Steve and Karen) weaved all of the legends and myths of legendary Glastonbury into a complete package. King Arthur, Joseph of Arimathea, Mary and Michael lines throughout. The Tor... I could go on and on. Professional, but most of all their hearts are full of kindness and love of the land they call home. Our group felt cared for, nurtured and most of all educated. The hosts Steve and Flo are extremely knowledgeable and also genuinely lovely people. Although I was in a large group, they both took the time to talk to me and make sure even my most history-nerd interests were satisfied! Far from a rehearsed production, both share their deep love of Avalon, the culture, the spirit, the people. 10 stars!

I would absolutely recommend a tour from Paul! He's possibly the most knowledgeable person there is, on the veil between the mythology and the actual history of Glastonbury, and how they interact. Nobody synthesizes the 2 like he does. He's a real treasure of knowledge, with a photographic memory. He also has an amazing perspective on it all, and anything he says about it will make you think deeply. He's connected to the mythic aspects of Avalon in a pretty unique way, and will definitely bring some magic to your visit! Prepare to also laugh more than a few times, his sense of humour is great.

I recently toured Glastonbury Abbey with Paul Weston while visiting the Somerset area. What a wealth of information Paul is! The stories he shared made the Abbey come to life. And while we had a glorious day full of sunshine, Paul's narrative made the history of such a magnificent, sacred place glow with the beauty of ancient times. Paul is a gifted storyteller.

I recently took a tour with Avalon Tours in Glastonbury. Flo and Steve are wonderful guides and took us on a journey to the heart of what Glastonbury stands is all about.

I have known Paul for 22 years and have asked him to lead Abbey tours for my Pilgrimage to Avalon tour for the past 16 years. Paul is a brilliant historian and weaves all of the threads of the Glastonbury mythos into his presentations. His unabashed love of place permeates his presentations which are a delightful combination of solid historical research, moving story telling and spiritual insight. I recommend him highly.
