Spoken, Exmouth

Visited here whilst on holiday at Devon cliffs, ( 3 adults and 2 children)... The staff were so lovely and friendly and the food was perfection, we all felt so relaxed here we couldv stayed all day�.... My eldest daughter wanted a children's cocktail which wasn't on the menu but the lovely man there mixed one up for her which was beautiful. Would most definitely recommend Spoken to anyone visiting Exmouth.

Visited at lunch time, great atmosphere and incredible food. Lovely, friendly bar staff. Don't normally take to Facebook for the sake of it, this place is well worth the 5* and the recommendation.

The place is great, but it's greatest asset are the staff who are genuinely keen to talk to you, really friendly place, well priced and good food and drink, been three nights in the trot, to be fair, will most likely be back for the meatballs tomorrow! :-)

On arriving at this imaginative bar/restaurant we were warmly welcomed and given outstanding service by the friendly staff. They added another dimension to the creative cocktails and high quality food. Our family members visiting from Texas were equally impressed with the concept and service. We all enjoyed a happy Sunday lunchtime in this fun bar.

My first time at Spoken and was impressed from the start - what a place , what an atmos - I’ll be back and soon 😃

Lovely quirky place nice nachos and Spanish fries too. Great place would love to visit again some day...

Love the twosome (swapped my burger for the baa baa burger) :) came in with a large group of family for a birthday meal there was a slight hiccup with a couple of orders but staff were great and sorted it all out and couldn’t have been more apologetic!

I like going there as the staff really friendly and good service also good foods 😊😊xx

Great setting fantastic food and service only thing that I would say is maybe they need a little coffee training ordered a flat white received a cappuccino but lovely smooth coffee in my Americano.

Great little place with every conceivable drink available if you lime you shots, gin, whisky or cocktails :) lots of choice on the draught too. My daughters both live in exmouth so i visit a lot and thos was my second visit, deffo wont be my last. Food is great too i had the local cod and between us we tried the Spanish fries, BBQ chicken wings, Mac n Cheese and The Piggy Burger all amazing. Not too expensive either.

Particularly impressed by the way the team were caring and concerned for my friend with a serious allergy. Just a perfect birthday party lunch. Well done George and the team xxx

Top quality food! Service was a little lacking. Knocked my drink over while trying to pick my baby up and not one member of staff came to help. The barman offered to bring my drink over then after about 10 mins I got the barmaid to pull my drink. Compliments to the chef though for really tasty food.

Decided spur of the moment to pop in for cocktails - phew we just got the last seats (the sofa of impenetrable depths)and it was only 7pm on Saturday! Such a popular bar for good reason; amazing range of spirits, wines and beers - oh and cocktails! - but mostly, for me, it's the staff, they are just so engaging, happy and inviting. Thanks again for indulging us by making Brandy sours (rather than whiskey)

Burger was still red inside. It was handed back and fresh one made. That was ok at best. Chips were lovely.
