This Sparrowhawk was watching a family of recently fledged Blackbirds and it wasnt long before he claimed one of the youngsters and took off closely followed by the adult Blackbirds

WeBs count June 2019 ~ thanks to Mark Roberts from Potteric for coming over to do the count, good to see LRP on the list, not a regular to the Flash, last noted in 2017.

Fantastic parents, one adult on the nest with the new clutch of eggs while the other feeds the humbugs from the first brood...

Highlights today 22-06-2019 A morning full of Grey Heron and Little Egret was topped by a Bittern flyby at the KF hide. Down at the Heron hide two Little Ringed Plover were still around along with Grey Wagtails. Several Buzzards and a Sparrowhawk was spotted along with two Green Woodpecker in the Meadow and a Jay on the path.
