This is wonderful news. Well done to all the team at Liverpool City Sights who have worked hard to make this happen. Exciting times!

Congratulations to Liverpool’s World Museum after latest figures revealed it to be the most visited Museum outside of London in 2018. An amazing achievement 👍 well done all.

The ☀️ sets on the first day of Spring! 😀

St John's Church, 1876. You can see what is now the World Museum in the background (St George's Hall is to the right of the church, not in frame). The church closed in 1898 and was demolished the following year, the land on which it stood is now known as St John's Gardens.

What I would call Liverpool's version of "The Shard", there was some amazing views of Liverpool. Best to go on a clear day, staff were really friendly and I would definitely go back again.

We went up yesterday after meaningbto all year. It was a lovely day with blue skies do we decided to go for it. The views were amazing. It was great to be up there. We took loads of photos and will go up again one day.

We original wanted to go up the Anglican cathedral tower but for some reason it was a no go.After enjoying the the fantastic Architecture of the Cathedral,We headed down bold street taking in a couple of vintage shops. At the bottom of bold street we decided between a trip up st johns Beacon or primark...So off we shot to the Becacon, £11 for 2Adults, friendly helpful staff and the views at the top were amazing..It was windy and the tower was moving very slightly.I'd say 15/20mins is enough checking out the views. If you like the outdoors I think the urban landscape view would appeal to you..worth the £11...? All day :-)

User

Very welcoming and friendly at reception. Les to the lift end told how to use the map. Although it was not a nice day, the views were incredible. Great experience at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Took my 4yr old as she has been begging to go. She goes mad every time she hears the tower mentioned on the Radio. We both absolutely loved it the views they were fantastic. Pointed out the big wheel to my little girl her response was "Oh I don't like that mummy" I asked why her response "because I don't like heights lol!! She loved being able to see the Dj' s working it's all she has talked about every time we get in the car. Everyone we spoke to were lovely thank you for a great experience!!!!

User

The friendly staff at reception took me up the tower sorry I can’t remember his name. He showed me the maps and the view was amazing you can even see Anfield from up there to the right of Lime street station. It was a bit of a dual day but still you can see for miles. Another thing ticked off from Liverpool sight see.

St Johns Beacon has always been part of the Liverpool City Skyline as far as I can recall. I was born in 1962 in Walton Hospital and now live within 15 miles of the City Center. My Visits to the tower are memorable for as a "Teen ager" my cousin was an electrician absailing on the building? So the family tell me.. I first went up with a friend in aprox 1975 when we were 13..

I have now been there 4 times showing friends and family the view, and thouroughly recomend a visit............

My partner & my 2 youngest spent 3 days in Liverpool from South Wales. On the last day we were walking about & taking in the sights & my 9 yr old son seen the flyer. At £15 for all 4 of us to go up was well worth it. It was a beautiful day & the views breathtaking. Would love to see it at sunset...must be a stunning view. My kids loved it. A must do for any trip to Liverpool & is on the to do list again for our next trip.

User

I only had one day in Liverpool. I could not see everything. The view from the tower made me look at this beautiful city. It's worth more than £ 5.5 for a ticket. Super!

User

Fab day as part of my sons 21st. We were last up the tower in 1977 for a meal for our Dad's birthday. Saturday Night Fever had just been released and the queue to get in the ABC cinema was round the block of Blacklers all the way to Lewis's! By the time we had gone round on the rotating floor the queue had gone. We even got a certificate to say 'we dined in the Tower restaurant! Fab memories 😀 Great that it's still in use and not left empty like a lot of the city's buildings. 😀

User

Excellent well worth the £5.50 entrance fee. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Liverpool. The views are amazing to see Blackpool tower from such a distance was awesome. The staff working there friendly and a laugh. What more can I say excellent.

User

Brilliant views and unlimited time up there! Friendly staff and good value for an hour or so! Not very busy either.

User

A really long time since I have been up there (in the 70's) Went up with my friends from Manchester, Sue and Jackie yesterday - we were all very impressed with the staff and, of course, the views. Stunning. Would recommend anyone to enjoy the experience.

User

A great way for visitors to find their bearings within our lovely city...

We may not be Chicago or Hong Kong but a trip up the Beacon gives you best views of the City, the County and the Region!

Well recommended :)

User

Went up the tower with 2 3yr olds a lot of wowww woooos enjoyed the spectacular views and had some great photos with the liverpool skyline in the background well worth the visit

User

The best viewing point in Liverpool. Helpful and friendly staff. For the price it’s worth a visit.

User

I worked in Church Street in the late 1960's and through most of the 1970's and saw the Beacon being constructed. When it was opened, I took the opportunity to visit the observation deck and found the views very interesting.

Until yesterday my wife had never been up and I t was only my second visit. We were blessed with a very sunny day so that made it easier to pick out some landmarks at a distance. It was good to see Lime Street Station, St. George's Hall, the two Cathedrals, not to mention the Royal Liver Building, the Echo Arena and the river as it enters the sea.

I would recommend a visit to any visitor to Liverpool or even those who live locally, like myself.
