Home for Good Bolton is a peer-to-peer support group that exists for children and their foster carers, kinship carers, special guardians and adopters.
This group meets bi-monthly for a meal together with the children and then splits into children's activities, thus providing an opportunity for carers to chat.
Do come along to our next meeting on Saturday 16th November from 12noon-2pm at St. Peter's Parish Centre. We will have a bring and share lunch and then the children will... go off to be entertained with football or craft activities. It’s a wonderful support group, we would love to see you!
Home for Good recognises how valuable peer-to-peer support groups can be for carers and adoptive parents and knows that groups connect people who encourage and support each other in amazing ways. Home for Good resources facilitators of peer-to-peer groups and signposts people to groups that meet in their area. However, groups are not run by Home for Good and are therefore the sole responsibility of the church or organisation which hosts them - in this case, St. Peter's Halliwell.
Home for Good Bolton has committed to adhere to Home for Good's peer-to-peer support group guidelines.
Please note, if you have concerns about a peer-to-peer support group, please do let Home for Good know as they encourage the promotion of good practice throughout the network of groups that have connected with them.
