We had our little girls Christening at St Teresas on 10th December and I could not fault the team at the club at all!!! The club was clean and tidy ready for us to decorate when we arrived! The staff were lovely, all of our guests were super happy!! Especially enjoying the new Gin Bar menu!! The new management made sure the event went off without a hitch and we left having had a lovely day!! Thank you again!! Xxx

Under new management now, we hired the room for a 90th birthday today and all the staff and manageress were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

There has been a lot of negative press about the club in past months so I was a bit apprehensive about my husband having his 60th there. All I can say is, that I needn’t of worried. The staff were brilliant, they were polite and very helpful. There was no issues about getting the deposit back, it was returned the following day, no problem. Thank you St Teresa’s.

I went in to St Teresa's at the weekend , it's now under new management , a lovely atmosphere great staff and service they even have a new Gin bar which made a refreshing change too to have a lovely drink in a nice big glass with fruit in �

I had my 40th party on 30th December and everyone had a great night. I was also apprehensive due to the recent bad press but it is now under new management and we had no problems at all. The staff were all great and the room is perfect for all occasions. Very reasonably priced to hire and good facilities. Thanks St Teresa’s, would definitely recommend xx

I attended a 70th Party at the club, a really good spacious venue. Friendly staff & a good atmosphere - would recommend.

Had my mum’s 70th at St Teresa’s on Saturday 3rd February and had a great night. The venue was very reasonable to hire and was plenty big enough for our large party. The staff were fantastic and never stopped all night, even helping with the tidying up! We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we booked and I would definitely use the venue again.

Had a great 50th party there last weekend - staff were great, accommodating and very friendly. Thanks guys.

Enjoyed djing at this venue last night. Great room for a party , hopefully I ll be back soon x

Had a fantastic quiz night last friday. Snooker room was packed, john gooch, as ever, produced some wonderful food and great to see some new faces. Also, fabulous to see several old faces return after the 'sharongate' disaster. The gin bar is a fabulous addition and was doing fantastic business. All I can say is good luck Kelly, not an easy job but certainly heading the right way.

Have been going to the club for years but tonight was the worse I've experienced - thumping music in the snooker room (we were the only ones there), one member of staff reluctant to turn it down because 'she likes it' - not what I would have expected - looks like things are changing and not for the better - possibly time to find somewhere else (until management changes again I suppose)

Staff were rude on arrival. Room was left tidy with photo and video evidence, but no refund of deposit . I definitely do not recommend this place for a function .

Staff very rude. Booked a package from them, room was decorated nicely with balloons, banners and chair covers, however was told there would be nibbles included, the nibbles consisted of a few small bowls of no frills crisps and nuts, definitely not enough. Also included in the package was the sweet cart, was told the sweet jars would be personalised but they weren't and there were no bags provided to put them in. Unfortunately won't be using them again, very disappointing and staff very rude.

Oh and they charged us for tap water!!!! Shocking!

Some of the rudest staff I have ever met do not book this place!

Rude staff who were constantly rolling their eyes at children when they'd hired out the room for a children's function. Room was left clean apart from plastic glasses that were stacked up ready for collection and yet they refused to give back deposit!? If you want to hire for a quiet night and take your hoover with you then go ahead. Seems they want the money without the effort.

Rude - really disappointed with the staffs attitude. Don't hold a function here unless you want to be ripped off.

I am giving this a 1 star rating as there is no option to give it a minus rating. Rude and unprofessional staff (customer service needs to be looked at). St Teresas you are letting the people of Penwortham and surrounding areas down.

Don't deal with this club! Money grabbers! Left us with no deposit back after videos were filmed and all was fab! She assured us our deposit would be ready the following day! When we went to collect it she said we wasn't having it! Liars! Don't waste your money!

Do don't deal with this place!! The owner was rude very rude!! She shouted at my children when they was doing nothing wrong she tried short changing a friend! And we left our car over night the day after we went back to get it to see the back window smashed and all my partners tools had been robbed and when we ask the landlady if she had cctv she just said no and walked away!!!! So unprofessional! Very rude and has no manners!
