Good morning all, we hope you had a wonderful weekend with your family and friends, enjoyed the weather and got lots of rest.
We know its Monday (booo!) so back to work for many, but never fear the weekend will soon be here again.
Something to cheer you up in the meantime, we are now open 7 days a week throughout the summer.
... This week we are open every day at 11am, no private events, so come down and see us for a bite to eat or a drink.
We will be serving food Thursday and Friday evening as well as in the daytime every day this week.

What's on this week....
Good morning all, we hope you are all fit and well and having a lovely week so far!
The kids are breaking up this week hoorah.. (oh to be a kid again!). and we wish everyone a wonderful summer!
... Lots of opportunity this week to pop down and see us, here is what's on.
Today the hatch is open serving drinks and ice creams.
Wednesday we open at 11am till 4pm and are serving food from 11 until 3pm
Thursday we open at 11am till 9pm and are serving food all day. Specials this week include the fabulous Brisket Burger yum yum! (pictured)
Friday we sadly are hosting a funeral for a very popular Congleton resident so will be closed till 4pm. We will be serving specials and main menu from 5pm until 8pm.
Saturday we open at 11am until 9pm serving Brunch from 11am until 3pm and drinks all day
Sunday open at 11am until 7pm serving Roast and specials from 12 until 5pm.
The terrace will be open all week for drinks and food.

What's on this week...
Morning all, we hope you are having a fabulous week, not missing the sun too much (it's nice to be cool for a change, but we aren't complaining!) I have it on good authority the sun will be back pretty soon, so don't put the flip flops and suncream away!
Hopefully you've all seen our post about Tapas tomorrow night (yum) but here is a little run down of what's on the rest of the week.
... BTW, we have realised, that as well as serving main menu all week, just this week we have a proms, a big birthday and a charity function and will be serving BBQ, Mexican, Tapas, Afternoon tea, Brunch and Roast all being served up for our customers at some point this week. So proud of our fabulous team and what they manage to present from such a small kitchen! Especially in the heat!
Here is What's on this week
Open today 11am until 4pm serving main menu and freshly homemade cakes baked today by Sam. Tonight we are hosting Havannah School's prom so cue lots of kids enjoying a BBQ and a disco.
Thursday we are open 11am until 10.30pm serving main menu from 11am until 4pm and kicking off our TAPAS evening at 5pm, serving food until 8pm. Let us know if you want to come and join us.
Friday we open at 11am and will be serving main menu until 4pm. We are closing at 5pm as we have been booked out fully for food on Friday night.
Saturday we open at 11am and serving BRUNCH from 11 until 3pm. We will close at 5pm for a private birthday function.
Sunday is Roast and Specials open from 11am and serving till 5pm, we will close around 7.30pm.
Great news!! The now infamous Brisket Burger is on the menu Sunday as a special, as well as a Sunblush tomato, chorizo, olive and pesto linguine, topped with rocket and pine-nuts. We also have a Thai Fishcake salad with asian slaw, coriander for anyone being health conscious. Of course we have the usual Roasts and our lovely selection of homemade desserts. We have tables for Sunday so do let us know if you want to pop down.
That's it for this week, July is a busy month for us, lots of the community want to come and have celebrations, so thank you for bearing with us if we are closed for a function here and there. Normal service will resume soon.

Good morning all, I am sure something big is happening tonight...can't think what!!
We wish England the best of luck, what a boost if they get through!
We are calming our nerves by focusing on business as usual...here is the rundown for the week.
... Open today 11am till 4pm and serving food till 3pm.
Thursday and Friday we will be open from 11am until 9pm and serving food all day until 8pm
This week's specials are:
Starters
Chicken lollipops. (pictured) breaded minced chicken with chipotle mayo
Beetroot breaded prawns, pineapple and mint salsa, sweet chilli sauce.
Mains Nacho breaded chicken burger topped with chilli con carne, cheese, sour cream and chive, guacamole. Served on a charcoal burger bun with skin on fries and slaw.
Seared queen scallops, crispy pork belly, summer peas and beans, served with a white wine veloute.
Slow cooked breast of lamb, boulangerie potatoes, tender stem broccoli and rosemary jus.
Italian meats, buffalo mozzarella, chilli and rocket pizza.
On Saturday we will be CLOSED all day for the wedding of Carole & David.
Sunday back to business as usual and open all day for Roast and specials, we will also be serving from the terrace all day.

Good morning Congleton!! How are you all feeling after a massive day yesterday - Carnival 🎡 and winning the football ⚽️ what an amazing day to lift peoples spirits.
If you are feeling like fresh air today - don’t forget we are open all day and serving food, limited tables left inside but seats available on the terrace.
There is also a concert for Brass on the grass to enjoy in the park this afternoon.
