a great little find today -Salads were gorgeous, the kids' crates were beautifully presented and enjoyed by all (nice to see a choice of toastie included for them too!) Thanks for going above and beyond with a birthday cake for my daughter. She loved it! Lovely place, lovely food, nice calm atmosphere and attentive staff. Thank you.

Whata lovely Hidden Gem.. a fab old school Tea rooms with an emporium of treasures to browse.. my 2nd visit in 2days..staff are wonderful and the food was lovely.. will be back soon and i will tell my friends..

This is such a lovely place to visit! The furniture/decor side is always crammed with fantastic pieces and lovely little finds. The cafe and food is something else though! The coffee is always amazing and the freshly cooked scones and buns are delicious and often warm from the oven. Children are always made more than welcome and you never feel rushed to leave. Absolutely my favourite place to eat & shop in Uppermill :)

Nice warm atmosphere, the staff are friendly and they have a good choice of snacks and drinks. It was busy when we walked in which is a good sign in my eyes. I'd recommend people to go in and give it a try!

My sister took my wife and me to S&S and Scona on New years eve while we were visiting from Oxford. We all thought it was great! The food was lovely, the coffee is absolutely fantastic and Gemma and the team made us feel really welcome and at home. Thanks and happy 2016 to you all! :-)

Lovely friendly staff, particularly the lovely lady who served me and my friends. I asked for the most chocolate cake they had because I had had a particularly stressful morning! The cake was gorgeous and certainly helped! The other cakes and drinks were also delicious

Loved the atmosphere of this place.... only paid a quick visit but will be coming here loads!!! One small disappointment.... cocoa cola looks out of place.... nasty corporation and nasty drink.... your better than that! !! But an exciting place!!!!

Love the place, atmosphere and the staff. Such a relaxed place but with great food and beverages with a smile. And always something interesting going on, exhibitions, gifts and workshops. Such a buzz to the place.

I love the pork pie picnic I have been there loads the staff are really friendly especially Alex I know a group who goes there called funky fitness and fun

I booked for afternoon tea, then realised it was Valentine's weekend, I contacted Scona to request a few little extras to make it a little more special, they obliged above and beyond, we loved our personalised little menus, the food was fantastic, selection of sandwiches,scones, cakes. What a fabulous place we have discovered!!! Definitely recommend a visit!!! We will definitely be returning soon. Thankyou Tracey & Mo .

Have called in a few times for a coffee and cake but today I called in for some advice on Autentico paint. A lovely lady called Sharon was knowledgable and very helpful, even letting me have a go with the wax to see if it was any different to the brand I normally use. I bought the paint and will be going back for the wax just as soon as I've finished my other. Service was excellent as normal.

Had a great lunch yesterday with my family .. delicious salad followed by one of the best scones I have ever eaten smothered in clotted cream and jam .. great atmosphere very child friendly would so recommend a visit ..lots of great ideas for my daughter's new home .. from Style and Salvaged .

Great day out in Uppermill. Stumbled across Miabode first, a hidden gem. The lovely owner, Mia recommended Scona for lunch. There was a fantastic vibe as soon as you arrived. Service was brilliant, with waitess joking about the sieve shortage delaying our tea ( we hadn't noticed a delay- despite the sieve shortage, we didn't wait long). The good was excellent, the staff were lovely and the space is exciting, with loads of community stuff held there. Hope to be back.
