Well the time has come to say a big thank you to our little Katie, who has now left to make her nest for the forthcoming baby. First time out in town for years friendly atmosphere and I must say the landlady takes no shit if she says no its no thats how it should be

Called in on November 25th 2017, 2 o’clock afternoon, great pub, great town, such a shame for townsfolk the weather was awful, had brass band, camels, donkey rides etc. Nice pint of Marstons Pedigree went down fine.

Went in with mates who are regulars for the England game last night it’s had a proper make over very very impressed.

Very friendly pub and cheap prices will come again

Good beer prices excellent bar staff plenty of seating good sport coverage

A pub that actually sells alcohol free beer, doesn't rip you off.

Lovely girl served me and helped with my queries on the town, shame to be hounded out by regulars 3 minutes after having my glass collected because I hadn't bought another drink

What a rude women working behind the bar - she served us our last drink at 10.55 then was telling us to leave at 11.04 . Its no wonder it was empty. Lets hope she only works Wednesdays . This pub will end up boarded up like the others if this is the best they can do for staff .
