What can I say about Michael Rickard . He is a first class top man and and shoe repairer. He has a heart of gold . On many occasions my sons splints have broken leaving him unable to walk. Instead of me having to trail all the way to Alder Hey he has repaired them over and over again over the last few years . He has done a perfect instant job and never once as he allowed me to pay.



If anyone is in need of shoe repairs , bags, belts or any other ask Michael , I can recommend you will get a first class job done .

What a professional gentlemen. Kindly took the time to work out how to fix four expensive dog collars I'd ordered from the internet. All not fitting and badly designed.

Went in to get a pair of boots widened for a costume and couldn't be happier with the result and the price! I'd recommend this shop to anyone, great service from the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met. 10/10 service!

Unable to get a broken zip on one of my boots replaced anywhere else, called in on T and M Rickard. Picked it up a day later. Zip had been repaired and stitched , saving me the cost of buying and fitting a new one. Brilliant job and very reasonably priced.

The man is dedicated, highly skilled and kind. a master in the art of shoes, go and you won't regret it (I'm from Italy, I know a thing or two about high end shoes)

Somebody told me that if you can't fix them, nobody can and it's true. I'm over the moon with how you've managed to fix my special shoes. Thank you �

So pleased I popped in. Thought it was stupid to ask for a zip in Wellington boots. But thanks to Michael it seems anything is possible. Now my little boy will be able to splash in the puddles. Never thought we would manage to get him in wellies. But this place made it happen . Thank you so much. Will be back with football boots soon

My mum Karen Jones came in and got the zip on my boots fixed. She had tried another shoe repair company and was unsuccessful after leaving them for 5 days. Michael Rickard managed to fix them after just a few minutes without charge. Highly respected individual with a passion for what he does best. Thank you!!!!

Mrs went in today to try and sort little man out with a zip in his wellies as he has a big foot and can't get his foot in normally nothing to much trouble . Thank you

Had fantastic service from here yesterday. Took my sons belt in which I had bought for his prom (designer belt so not cheap) as needed a notch putting in as it was too big. Michael measured, cut and reassembled the belt and ensured it was as good as new. And wouldn’t take any payment for it.

Had a repair done on a straw beach bag I thought I would have to throw away. The handles were ripping and not sewn properly. The repair is great, little brass rivets through the bag and handles, at a very reasonable cost. Thank you

Absolutely amazing work and fantastic service!

I had a few pairs of Valentino shoes that needed repair. Other shoe repairers wouldn't touch them because the shoes are so expensive, they didn't want to take the risk. Michael was confident and explained what he planned to do with the shoes and how he would do it. He is knowledgeable and experienced, and I completely trusted him to do the job. He went out of his way to match and order the exact colour soles that I needed. I collected the two pairs of shoes today and I'm absolutely delighted with them. I honestly cannot believe how perfect they are.

I will be taking my other pairs in for the same repairs. I will 100% be recommending T&M Rickard to my friends and colleagues.
