Visit regularly with our twin boys and the staff are always so accommodating and always manage to make our boys what they ask for, regardless of how far away from the menu options it may be . Fantastic example of customer service and a lovely place to go for any occasion

THE place to be on the water front! There yesterday. Friendly efficient staff, nice atmosphere, sometimes very busy, sometime too many seats reserved, very young & not so young catered for. Don't choose the soffa if you have difficulties standing up!

My family and I went for lunch yesterday and it was lovely! Really lovely happy friendly staff and the food was gorgeous. I'd definitely recommend anyone to go for lunch, especially with it being so dog friendly. The views are beautiful too, very impressed overall and will be returning xx

Love going here for coffee and snacks and sitting in the rear conservatory with my dogs who are given a dish of dog biscuits by the friendly staff

Love Tanskey's. Great views , good staff and just in the right place after a walk around the lake! Shall be taking advantage of their special offers and music nights through the winter.

Little gem of a place, lovely food, pleasant staff and made all the better for me as I can sit in the heated terraced area with my dogs plus the dogs get treats

I go for lunch here often and never fails to impress. Staff are lovely and helpful and the fact that it is dog friendly is a huge positive as we like to walk the dog around the marine make and then call in for lunch. Little dog biscuits also keep the poochie happy! Love it xxx

A huge thank you to all staff at Tanskeys. I held my 40th birthday celebrations here on Saturday and we had a fabulous time! The welcome was warm and the food and drink was perfect. All adults and children commented on the ideal venue and I would highly recommend. Thank you. X

We took over the whole place and had a lovely afternoon tea with West Kirby Old Girls Association at Tanskeys. Enjoyed by all judging by the noise level! Thank you to all the staff for their wonderful service.

User

Very busy place, staff a bit overwhelmed, but lovely setting, staff very friendly, and nice food

User

Lovely little cafe, food was very tasty and staff very friendly. Not many tables though as only a small place but worth waiting if you are peckish

Lovely little bistro. We went to West Kirby on a trip down memory lane. Called in for a warm drink as we were cold, they had run out of cod goujons so we ended up with hot chocolate and baked potato. Staff very friendly and polite. Thank You

My wife and I had half an hour to spare yesterday and chose Tanskey's for a Latte coffee. We were both taken with the cleanliness of the Cafe and the decor was very pleasant.

Although we only had time for coffee, I would have liked to see a menu for future visits, but only a drinks menu on each table. Nevertheless, we will return as it is such a bright, clean and lively Cafe on the front at West Kirby.

I was disappointed on arrival as the waitress ignored us as she walked past us 3 times before we could ask her for a menu. Quite expensive for a sandwich but it was lovely when it arrived.

Went for breakfast daughters birthday treat as start of her celebrations , not much on the menu + wouldn’t even do an omelette ??? Nice views over the water though!

Nearly hit with a firework . It's not bonfire night , looked forward to a nice walk with my dog on the prom , only to have fireworks go off over my head , upsetting my dog horribly. He is still cowering . No warning - fireworks aimed over the cafe towards the marine lake , but exploding over the road and walk way . Irresponsible. Phoned to let them know a lot of people where on the lakewall and prom, and was shrugged off and told ' it was only a few' . More thought should have been given , staff seemed apathetic and uncaring about upset caused .
