Just wanted to thank a fantastic member of staff in the cafe today. My son has aspergers syndrome and has always enjoyed the pizza at the cafe. Today we ordered pizza from the children's menu as the menus have changed. Sadly when it arrived it was clearly a Chicago town small pizza not the lovely pizza oven ones you did. My son refused to eat it and burst into tears. A very kind more mature man came over and offered very kindly to replace his meal with anything he wanted and showed real concern. My son was in full melt down by then and just cried into me. Thank you for having such caring and understanding staff.

I went to the petrol station today and again the 2 usual staff were on. They are brilliant. A total double act. He used my name (from my club card) and asked how I was today. Not being well I said under the weather . He was stood with an elf hat on at the time. He answered 'I hope you have an elfy Christmas ' cringe to his colleague. Then said his colleague wouldn't allow him to play his favourite music ' Elfis'. So funny and made my day. That's what customer service is about. Please thank both of them on at 12pm today. Keep up the good work.

I usually travel from preston when I need to stock up on dog and cat food however for the past month there has been no butchers classic tinned cat food, have you stopped stocking it and if so why? last time I bought some of Tesco's own brand but ending up throwing a lot of it away as my three cats don't like it, not disrespecting your own brand, they wont eat whiskers or any other of the leading brands, butchers classic is the only tinned food they enjoy :\

User

Thank you to June who helped with the mobility trolley for my daddy who had just had a cast on his ankle and needed his shopping as he is now gonna be pretty much housebound. Lovely lady

Store is nice enough but I recently bought some 'new' Tesco Finest Brussels 179g Pate with Madeira Jelly and Cognac......they seem to have ceased selling the former Finest range which was delicious.

The above version was disgusting - in my opinion - I got my husband to try it......he eats virtually anything!......and even he threw it away. It had the weirdest aftertaste and tasted sour and a bit herby, even though the ingredients don't state any herbs included.

The packaging was also extremely fiddly and difficult to open without making a mess.

User

I like shopping at tesco but today I need to have a small rant.

We always buy the 4kg bag of tesco value dog mixer as our dogs prefer it but today couldnt see any. Instead tesco have changed the packaging from paper to plastic and have also increased the price from £2.17 to £3.50 for the same mixer same weight but in new packaging. Not happy at all as its not the first item i've bought that changed packaging and increased in price by quite a bit.

A lot of empty shelves in the fruit dept also not much on the cheese counter either a big enough store staff at self scanning very helpfully

Went on Sat 11th November, bought Levi Roots Martinique mango curry, never seen it before, but was looking forward to it, came to cook it on the 13th November, I looked on the back of the packet.....best before June 2017 !!

How often do they check the shelves?I have sent a pm on FB Messenger to the Blackpool store, but as yet its not been read, so much for customer service, it's a 10 mile car drive from my house to Tesco. Feeling ignored and very disappointed with Tesco.

Turned up to the cafe at 2:30,on a Sunday looking forward to an all-day breakfast having been turned away several times at 2:50 because they've stopped servingng hot food!

Not for the first time today they've ran out of fish, fair enough I thought, but they've also ran out of breakfast??? Struggling to get my head round that one if only there was a convenience store nearby Very dissapointed every little helps?

User

Enjoyed a 🍵 there yesterday. Nothing like sitting in cafe watching the world go by

Bought a packet of tesco garlic sausage on April 3 at your store. It stated on the packet gluten free seasoning. Should have said free of any seasoning. Had no smell or taste of garlic was like eating cardboard. Very very disappointed.

As I run a Brownie unit, Tescos deal on Easter Eggs buy 2 get 2 free is great. I place a click and collect order for multiple eggs to get the deal. However, tonight when I went to collect my order there were no "free" eggs. When queried the man in the pod rang the store and was advised that there wasn't an offer on and I could be refunded 2 eggs? I asked for a full refund which I was told would take upto 48hrs, but given no paperwork to confirm this! I then went into the store and was met by a stack of easter eggs advertised as buy 2 get 2 free!! Very poor customer services......

User

Absolute joke this morning, the self services scanners we not working this morning but instead of putting a sign up or even putting an announcement over the speakers they let people rock up only to be told you cannot use the scanner so use the conventional tills and then only have a handful in use. You need to work harder on your communications! And don’t make out it’s your customers faults for not reading your minds!!!

User

We have just left the cafe and all I can say is disgusting. We ordered the fish and it was over cooked you couldn't even see nevermind taste the fish. My daughter had the kids pizza which came burnt and chicken nuggets were also burnt. We will never be going here again. We had to leave it and eat somewhere else. The lady we told about the quality of food who worked there just brushed it off as if we didn't say anything to her.

Tesco ruined Xmas with there tesco direct service.... 2 year old expecting a present......if expecting tesco extra gifts..... they will not be here til after 27th of Dec so lots of upset people I was messed around for 3 days...... from 20th!!

Fact is they ain't had a tesco express delivery for 2 days so nobody will receive anything

Thanks tesco

User

So apparently in Tesco you know have to read the shelf label yourself and compare it with the barcode to make sure the staff have put the stock in front of the correct label!! Otherwise the customer is wrong and the product isn't actually on offer! They just made a mistake... Tried to blame customers for putting the products back in the wrong place, its not like there weren't 6 of them already on the shelf in the wrong place!

Profits must be up so they can turn sales away these days!!

So Tesco near the M55 Blackpool, here is how it went down today #Tesco. Myself (53 years old) and my daughter (23 years old) popped in for a little shopping today. Our trolley contained some bottles of alcohol. At the checkout, my daughter was asked for her ID, which she did not have. Regardless of the fact that she, being 23 years old, is entitled to buy alcohol, it was not her that was making the purchase, it was me. Whilst I may not look my 53 years, I certainly look more than 25. Apparently this was not good enough for the checkout assistant and not good enough for her supervisor and thus the alcohol was put to one side. Thus I can only assume the #Tesco policy is that if a parent and child, regardless of whether that child is one week old or does not look under 25, then that parent who themselves look over 25 will not be sold alcohol. Anything else would be discriminatory. So, we did not buy the alcohol in that transaction. My daughter, still 23 years old, took our non alcohol purchases to the car and I went back round the store and purchased the alcohol myself without challenge. Thus rendering your policy farcical and pointless. As I walked out of the store with my bag of alcohol, I made eye contact with one of the checkout assistants involved, smiled and shook my head. Footnote: no crime was committed as alcohol was not sold to anybody under the age of 18. Common sense please #Tesco, common sense.

Really disappointed!

Tesco is the supermarket that we use all the time and have done for many years, In fact, we even bought shares in the company.

Earlier today, my wife and I decided to try Tesco Finest Curries for our evening meal and chose Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Korma. We also purchased two large Samosas and two large Bhajees from the deli counter.

Sadly, the curries were bland and tasteless ( possibly the worst we have tasted ) but the rest of our purchases were equally sub-standard.

I am a supporter of Tesco but, on this occasion I had to share my thoughts. Selling food like this will do nothing to enhance the company's reputation.
