Went to this place by pure chance on a visit to my sis to ormskirk.

Completely loved this place

Fantastic place to come and eat with kids due to the open space for them to play

Beautiful birds and other animals to see

But must important fantastic service and friendly staff that will go out of there way to make you happy

Will definitely make the journey all the way from London to go there again

Went here last night , fabulous food and service wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed it , never felt rushed at any stage of meal .Been here many times for breakfast and lunch but never for a party night but would recommend it.Staff lovely.

We took my Dad so he could have the fish & chips (his favourite) which he thoroughly enjoyed. The rest of us all got the beef baguette & side orders of chunky chips & onion rings.. Delicious would recommend The Aviary to everyone! 10/10 for food, decor & staff! We will be returning you soon.

We held our wedding reception at The Aviary last week and we couldn't fault them at all. The service on the night was spot on and there was never an empty glass on any of the tables. One of our guests commented on the food stating it was one of the best three course meals they had recently and we agree!! Everyone had such a lovely relaxed evening. Thank you to Edgar and Flavia and the rest of the staff at The Aviary for all of your help planning the event and making everyone welcome on the night! We hope to be returning soon!

We held our baby shower/ gender reveal here and we had a great time. Food was fab and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you so much.

We have visited the Aviary for lunch several times and been very happy with the food and the service. More recently, a group of us went for a 'champagne' breakfast for my daughter's 40th birthday and had a brilliant time. It couldn't have been better. The staff were very friendly and pulled out all the stops to give us a lovely morning. We had a few young children with us and they were treated to the same kindness & consideration. The food, as ever was perfect. Thank you to all concerned.

We had our wedding reception/party for 80 people at The Aviary and everything was excellent! The service, food, drinks, function room and outside space is perfect for a group of up to 80 people. Several fixed price food menu options are available to suit different budgets.The staff could not be more helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our night. We will happily book The aviary again. Big thanks to all of the team there. Cheer Lee!

We had our wedding reception here at the weekend! It was absolutely fabulous! The wedding breakfast was delicious as was the fish and chips during the evening! All of the staff were extremely kind and attentive and made to whole day flow very smoothly! We were lucky enough to enjoy the lovely weather in the outdoor area for drinks and photos, as well as over flowing into this space during the evening! Overall The Avairy hosted an AMAZING day and night! Thank you!

We had a glorious meal on Sunday afternoon for six people and found the whole experience 1st class from the service, staff, surroundings to the beautiful food, definitely 5 star

Visited today for a Prosecco Afternoon Tea which was so delicious and just right, with a perfect selection of sandwiches and cakes. I thought we would only get the Prosecco but we were also given tea or coffee. The Waiter and Waitress were so obliging and friendly. Lovely experience. Thank you.

Visited here yesterday for a sunday lunch, couldn't recommend it enough. The restaurant is clean and modern and the food was served piping hot and well presented. The birds outside weren't very lively because of the change in weather, but they were still nice to see.

Me and my nan came by chance . Absolutely amazing food could not fault it . Staff so friendly the owners son was there he was lovely and the young lady there did not catch her name she was a delight ! She got us out talking to the parrots and feeding the fish just really welcoming . Definitely be back cant wait to bring the rest of the family . Thank you again �

Had an absolutely lovely surprise party on Saturday afternoon great food , staff were wonderful , kids loved it all as well . Will definitely be visiting again 🎉🎉

Had a lovely family get together today for lunch. Great food and service and the staff great as there were 27 of us........helped with a birthday cake surprise for Kevin's 30th and were extremely patient when it came to paying the bill. We pre-ordered the meals except for a few which helped the smooth service and I would recommend that if we were to do a big party again. Hopefully going back soon for afternoon tea one day soon. Thank you !! :)

Edgar and the other staff are fantastic. We had our wedding reception and evening party at the Aviary, the food and service were superb. Edgar went out of his way to make every thing perfect. Ordering in different beers and tweaking the menu for the more fussy family members. If you are just popping in for afternoon tea or organising a family party I can't recommend the Aviary too highly.

Took mum for lunch on Sunday after being recommended to us. It was tasty. Food excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Mum is on crutches at the moment but they made it very easy for her to get around. My only room for improvement is to request soya milk please.

Visited today, for the first time, with the grandchildren. We were given lunch menus but not offered childrens menus so we all ordered from the menu given. Only when paying did we express concerns about the childrens portions being so large and a great deal of it being left on the plate that we were we told we could have had separate menus. An expensive and wasteful lunch for two small children.
