The Beatles Story

About The Beatles Story

The Beatles Story is the world's leading Beatles-themed visitor attraction and is based in Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles.

The Beatles Story Description

The Beatles Story was established in 1988, opening in the newly developed Albert Dock in May 1990.

The Beatles Story explores the story of the Beatles chronologically, from the first meeting between John Lennon and Paul McCartney to the eventual break-up of the band and their lives after The Beatles.

The Beatles Story is told through the 'Living History' audio guides narrated by John Lennon's sister Julia. This is now available in ten languages, making the Beatles Story one of the leading UK attractions in foreign language provision.

what an amazing experiences

great story, great museum of the greatest band ever!

User

When we planned our trip to London, I told my family we were definitely hitting Liverpool for this attraction. Worth the trip.

User

Well worth the visit. Listening to the audio guide at your own pace. Even if you are not a fan or are too young to remember it’s worth it.

User

Well , it's Beatles. Though very simple in presentation, it still shows a fair amount of stuff regarding Beatles including John Lennon's eyewear and the story of the legendary group. Not cheap though but it's okay

We went on thursday 19th July, myself, wife and 2 boys, all Beatles fans. We had an amazing time and to top it all off, as we were sitting down, colouring and singing along, your employee Ann came over and joined us, she could tell our 9 year old Matthew was a huge fan and went out of her way to let him try on John Lennon's Sgt Pepper coat. What she didn't know is that Matthew is Autistic and this was the "best day of his life" (his words). He ran up and gave Ann a hug goodbye. She really made the day extra special and we'd love her to know this. Thank you

User

We only went on the bus Beatles Story part after a city bus tour. Our guide Damien just made it! Music from his IPod and playing guitar and singing relevant Beatles songs. His knowledge and delivery was second to none...really good... so entertaining!! Lots of lesser known facts about The Beatles and their families and backgrounds. Brilliant! Would recommend any time! Thank you!

User

Aside from the very enjoyable experience bringing The Beatles back to life, my partner and I who traveled from Exmouth, Devon was very surprised by the quick response we got from the staff when Jean lost her hearing

aid in the exhibition place. Two wonderful gentlemen from the staff patiently helped us search for it from entrance to exit without any luck. However the following morning we got an email from Ceri Shaw , admissions team leader that they located the lost item and will gladly send it via mail. She maid my day and I was very thankful that there are still some lovely and kind persons in this world.

Amazing place, I have been very happy for this experience in my life.

User

Although I have been before(3 years ago) we had a similar problem then but not with kids it was adult German females who should definitely have known better but all in all this visit was much better

User

Wonderful store with plenty of different memorabilia. The staff was great. The cafe was lovely, fabulous service.

User

My husband and I been there only for a day visit. He was born and bred in Liverpool and revisited the places he used to hang out and worked but never been to Beatles Story Museum. A bit pricey but we enjoyed the whole tour.

User

Enjoyed our stroll through the history of the lives of the Beatles but we were all disappointed not to hear more music. We went in with high expectations of singing along with the Fab 4 but it wasn't to be 😂. Tickets quite pricey although you can use them over 2 days but lots of people, like us, have just one day to visit. But we all came out knowing more about the Beatles than we did when we went in 😊

User

The price is too high for seeing the things that you can find at another places.Nothing special for real Beatles' fans.

User

Interesting enough but tickets a bit pricey for what it was. Essentially it’s a lot of photos
