We visited the circus on Saturday 16:00 show, & we absolutely loved it. There was a few issues at the start of the show ( Power cut ) the whole building had to evacuate but it was completely out of there control & understand it wasn’t the “Tower buildings fault”. They dealt with it fairly quickly & had us back in the building in no time. All the acts were Amazing!! The Live music is very impressive !! It made my sons day with his birthday shout out. So Thank You Blackpool Tower Circus. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it

User

We come to the Tower Circus every time we visit Blackpool and it’s always 5 star. We were there again yesterday afternoon. Mooky and Mr Boo are simply fabulous and hold the whole show together with their very clever nonsense. In addition, the live music, the fabulous acts they choose and the dancers, it’s just brilliant. Absolutely loved the big piano bit this time round. Must see show for all ages

User

Never been to the circus before and i was blown away today. All the acts are incredible and well executed. Great value for money for the tickets. Merchandise however was quite pricy all around great day out though. Credit to all the acts at the tower circus!

User

My family visited the Blackpool Eye as we have been doing CBT therapy with our 13 year old autistic son who has a massive phobia of heights. We would like you to know that your staffs attitude and helpfulness was outstanding. Especially a young lady called Leah, who not only helped in the lift, held my sons hand but also waited for us to come down to give us a hat that we had lost earlier. You all should be very proud. Thank you. Xxx

User

I'd like to give a huge thanks to the staff who operated the lift yesterday afternoon around 6/7 pm, my 10 year old son has autism, he was extremely nervous yesterday before entering the lift which takes you up to the Blackpool eye. He was getting very emotional but the young lady who operated the lift was excellent with charlie and he managed to get into the lift and even with some gentle persuasion walked onto the glass floor, thanks again, stephanie I'll inbox photos of Charlie, he's so proud.

User

I hate heights but decided to give it a go. On my third attempt I managed to get half way on a skywalk girder. Maybe next time. The views are amazing. The only downside were the 30 constant screaming children school group. Not one adult was controlling the kids from Bolton. The 4D experience was something else. Sent postcards from the top of the tower. Next time I'm doing the mini golf

User

All enjoyed.visting here.big ticket most value for money. Enjoyed going to top of the tower and the views were stunning x kids loved sending postcard to grandad from top of tower and my 7 year old mouth was wideopen during the cinema x circus was wow fabulous show for all ages. Ballroom equisitte/beautiful. Jungle kids play area great for letting off steam. Blackpool dungeons is defo wirth a visit intresting scary and fun x

User

Loved the tower visit. Would have given it 5 stars if your pricing information wasn't outdated. The price of an adult ticket is £13.50, both on the website and the screens by the ticket counters, however we got £14.50 each. I know it's only a pound, but still, I believe in transparency.

User

Had a brilliant day. However popped into the red lion pub while waiting for everyone to collect from doing their own little excursions around the building and after paying over £10 for 2 pints were charged £1.40 for a dash of black current. I mean come on! Other than that it was fun!

User

We booked tickets yesterday for the Tower Eye, Ballroom and the Circus. We are a family of 4. (Our Children are 5 and 4 years old). Our son has recently been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is also Lactose Intolerant. He’s in a specialist buggy but still has some mobility. When booking we were told either wouldn’t be a problem and staff would help.

We decided to visit Tower Eye first before lunch and then onto the Ballroom to grab a sandwich. We all loved the Tower Eye.

We entered the Ballroom and I enquired about the food. As usual staff aren’t really clued up on allergies, we find this wherever we go and they just hand you the allergy folder to look for yourself.

I requested if a plain ham sandwich could be made up for our son. A member of staff went to enquire and on her return she said there wasn’t any ham left! I went into the Ballroom customer services who then said all sandwiches are pre-made. She advised me to try Harry Ramsden’s upstairs. That was closed! Tried Costa Coffee, no dairy free alternative. She said try Jungle Jim’s. They advertised a plain sandwich kids meal, great! Asked the member of staff who told me to just look at the ones in the fridge. Not really willing to help. All the plain sandwiches contained milk! She then finally sent another member of staff to find alternatives. A Tuna sandwich and chicken sandwich was found!!!

This took an hour of our time off our visit and is very stressful when you have young children. As with all dining facilities, it’s always gluten free that is catered for in most places. Staff need to be aware of other allergies and be trained to deal with all requirements.

After that we needed to use the disabled toilet near the arcade and it took 20 minutes to locate a member of staff with a key to open it up.

We also had an issue with entering the circus with buggy and ended up having to put it in the buggy park although we were told when purchasing tickets that we wouldn’t if we entered Entrance B!

The amount that it costs for a family of 4 to enter the attractions, I’d expect that your staff and facilities should be able to deal with these minor requirements. Obviously in both instances they cannot!

User

This was my second visit to the tower and my sons first. For the most part it was a good experience, with friendly and knowledgable staff. However, we found one staff member (Mark - I think) who was counting people in very rude - a little bit of customer service training wouldn’t go amiss!!

User

I visited Blackpool tower today with a wheel chair user we paid to go to the circus & the ball room planning to stay most of the day. We had difficulty when my companion needed to use the disabled toilets as they're locked & we had to seek some one to give us a key. When I asked why the answer I got was " it's a radar key that is universal " which didn't answer my question! I asked again then I got asked if my companion had a radar key to which I replied wether they had a key or not still didn't answer my question as to why disabled toilets are kept locked. When i pointed out that we were paying visitors & asked if other visitors had to seek out some one to get a key to use the toilets but got no reply

User

Loved the circus, but sorry to say the rest of the experience in the tower was disappointing.

Went about ten years ago a few times and truly spent the whole day in there. But today felt rushed and the feel of history has been ruined by tastelessness. It was very disappointing not to be able to access the areas as you once was able too without having to pay!

A real bug we came out of the circus where the toilets was closed for cleaning but had to be told that we had to go back out and round and queue to get back in.

User

Family holiday fantastic.

Tower eye and circus were fantastic.

Only downside was do when we went to take 6 kids to jungle Jim's...there was 20 mins of a session left and the guy at counter (Yunus) said go in and wait for next session. After 20 mins we were asked to leave so I asked Yunus and a manager and they told us we can't have the hour anymore as we had 20 mins already and had to leave. I now have 6 unhappy children and angry parents. Staff just whispered and smiled as we left it was disgusting and needs improved. I should've been asked to come back for next session. NOT HAPPY !

User

We booked online paying £46 for a family of 4 due to it saying “online prices will be cheaper than the door” when we arrived an hour later to collect our tickets the price for a family ticket was only £28 we complained but was told “nothing we can do” what a rip off

User

Visited the circus in the tower on Wednesday, utter shambles!! You were told to be at the show 30/45 mins before the show, people were still coming in at 12.55 😡 5 mins before the bloody show started resulting in us missing the first 25 minutes due to people looking for seats right infront of us even though there were none!!!!😡 We even started to tell people there were no seats but they just ignored us and continued to walk and talk right infront of us! Not happy at all! If you tell people to be there before the show please be a bit more courteous to those who actually abided by the rules!

User

Total waste of time. Didn't tell anyone there was only 1 lift working for the tower eye and that it would take far longer to actually get up the tower eye. Wasted well over an hour queuing for this yet they still charge full price.

Pretty much wasted an afternoon for this farse.

User

The circus has gone so down hill! The first half was poor acts which were few and far between... it’s mostly the clown act! The second half using a pole was highly inappropriate for kids!! A man getting his shirt ripped off, made a 10 year old ask “are they together or something?” So expensive for the acts in it! Years ago it was great! Now it’s just below average.

User

Not recommended if you have children. Ours were publicly removed from the dance floor for dancing together. Apparently it’s the policy although they don’t advertise it. “Their are some older dancers that take their dancing very seriously and they don’t consider the dance floor to be big enough to accommodate themselves and children” both of these kids take dance lessons and we’re really excited about coming to the ballroom. I wonder what their inclusion policy singles out or if they only discriminate and publicly humiliate based on age? Unfortunately the staff thought it was acceptable behaviour. I pointed out that they are alienating the next generation of dancers and would be needing their custom when theres nobody there because the current ones were no longer around. He just grinned and said “I don’t think we will ever be that quiet”. Disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

We booked online paying £46 for a family of 4 due to it saying “online prices will be cheaper than the door” when we arrived an hour later to collect our tickets the price for a family ticket was only £28 we complained but was told “nothing we can do” what a rip off

Total waste of time. Didn't tell anyone there was only 1 lift working for the tower eye and that it would take far longer to actually get up the tower eye. Wasted well over an hour queuing for this yet they still charge full price.

Pretty much wasted an afternoon for this farse.
