We have been here a few times now. Mostly for Sunday lunch. We decided to try their evening meals and we were not disappointed at all. Nothing was a bother to then. The food was piping hot and plenty of it. The service was second to none. The Blacksmiths Arms is becoming our favourite place to eat. Well worth a visit.

We are frequent visitors to The Blacksmith Arms and have not had a bad meal. The staff are excellent and you never have to wait an age after you've ordered. We brought my son with us last night and he thought his steak on a stone was done to perfection and said he will definitely be visiting again soon. Well done once again for an excellent meal 😀

Thank you for a lovely evening for my father in laws birthday food was amazing, staff were friendly and nothing was any trouble when we asked for things will highly recommend

Parmos are amazing, kids fish fingers are proper fish not cheap frozen fish fingers, lovely place to go with your kids, enjoy nice food and a nice pint, play area for kids too, with little field to kick a ball about, would highly recommend it xx

My boyfriend took me tonight for my birthday and I was very impressed. Amazing food, excellent service and a beautiful place to eat. We will definitely be coming back in the new year � thank you for a lovely birthday meal!

My boyfriend and I ate here last night, a last minute decision on our way back home after a long drive. It was an excellent choice! The staff were really nice and friendly, service was excellent, and the food was fantastic!! The parmo was the best we've ever tasted and the rest of our food was lovely. Prices were really reasonable too!! It was our first visit but it won't be our last. Will definitely recommend to friends and family :)

4 of us had Sunday lunch and was fantastic. Good service excellent starters of pot skins with dip and black pudding starter with mustard sauce. Mains excellent beef and chicken perfect, Yorkshire puddings excellent. Fresh veg brought to your table and plenty of it. So reasonably priced would definitely return.

We were there on Saturday, I had a hunters chicken, and chips. My wife had 4 ways chicken. This was a single breast, and 1 spuds worth of chips. For nearly £15, seems over priced and it no where near enough. Was nice, but deffo not enough. No veg either.

Family we were with had a mixed grill, looked good, or parmo. Again looked good.

When one person asked if a meat on the mixed grill could be swapped for a different meat, were told no, because "they are all pre packed up" what's that mean I wonder.

Puddings weren't too bad.

Better sizes for the chicken meals would get it the full 5 stars.

We had most of our family there all afternoon includeing 3 little ones who took over place lol,made welcome even set real fire up for us, food was lush fantastic value had perfect afternoon with family Thankyou very much

We visited tonight for the first time (4 adults a toddler and a baby) and we sat at the table in front of the children’s play area. It wasn’t until our two year old fell over and slit her knee open that we realised the grass was covered, and I mean covered in shards of glass. I immediately told the bar staff who did come out to see to the glass but I was really disappointed that there was no apology or anything to my little girl. Had I been the owner, I would have brought out a small dish of ice cream or similar to compensate!
