Sunrise from the Old Man of Coniston this morning! a wonderful picture! Just curious if any of our followers have any photographs they would like to share!? Be it from up on the fells in and around Coniston or from down here at the Caf├®......post below ­¤æćand who knows the best one might even win a free piece of our delicious home made cake on their next visit ­¤śü

When we arrived, there were no tables on the terrace (where dogs are allowed) however the team member was very helpful and found us a table just inside, so the dogs could sit near us, but just outside. The food, service and location are great, especially on a sunny day. Will definitely return.

What's not to love. I spent a leisurely Sunday morning yesterday, eating a full English in the sun. Pretty much perfect and my favourite place in the universe.

Took my Mum & Dad for a belated Mothers day lunch. The food was lovely & so nice to chill out whilst over-looking Coniston. They both loved it & said they'd definitely go back another time.

Thought on arrival that the menu looked expensive but assumed it was because of the views . When we got our breakfasts .. mine was cheese and bacon on toast , we realised it's because the foods amazing and so good . We will be back

The perfect place. Setting is stunning, food & drink amazing. Paddled from our campsite at Coniston Hall, had a delicious breakfast (Posh eggs with Smoked Salmon) then came back on our bikes in the afternoon for tea & scones. Would highly recommend & can't wait to go back again soon.

Quick service, great sausage and bacon buttys, and according to my 9yr old 'the nicest vegetable soup in the universe'

My favourite cafe in Coniston great food and the best Latte ever! A little pricey but worth every penny !

If i had to choose one place to drink latte...this would be it. Location is just epic with facilities and service to match. Pricing for latte was about right, didn't have any food but looked very good. If you in Coniston well worth a look.

I give ’┐Į ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į couldnŌĆÖt fault the place. Was very impressed & how at the end of the day everything & I mean everything even floors outside were cleaned. CanŌĆÖt wait to call in again to this totally amazing place ’┐Į’┐Į

I call here on a regular basis.. the place is fantastic, the staff are all very polite and friendly and itŌĆÖs always clean and tidy.. food and drinks definitely a 5 star

Excellent hot chocolate and one of the nicest almond slices IŌĆÖve ever had. Beautiful surroundings too, couldnŌĆÖt ask for better, highly recommend. Bonus- they sell special food to feed the ducks.

Excellent food, Staff lovely .... Full Breakfast is a must to start your day here ... Excellent quality at a reasonable price overlooking an amazing view of the Lake ’┐Į

Came to Coniston yesterday to visit our son. Called in the The Bluebird Cafe for a hot chocolate and mince pie. Lovely place and service with a smile by a nice young man named Josh. Sorry but I didn't catch the name of the other young man behind the counter. Friendly bunch of people. Thank You!!

Called in on Good Friday evening just after 5pm, so lucky you were still open. We had coffees and clotted cream scones, they were delicious! The girl who served me was was very friendly too, thank you!

Cakes all top class and made on premises. Hot food from┬Ż7 up to ┬Ż12. Dog friendly outside patio with glass screens and overhead infrared heaters. Very good standards and the Beautiful views come free.

Been to the Blue Bird Cafe many times. It never fails to impress me, food is delicious and the staff are very warm and friendly

Great views over the lake,dog friendly on the covered patio and heated patio. Prices are a bit on the expensive side for what you get, but it was nice food and the Victoria sponge was to die for! Good coffee and service!

Fantastic location with views over Coniston. The food was great and the service good. We visited twice during our week in the Lakes.

A nice little cafe right on Coniston Water. However, as with a lot of cafe's like this one in the Lake District, fantastically over priced (a bottle of water & a bottle of Fanta over ┬Ż5!)...
