In an interview with a chap on the streets today - Mark Butcher has unearthed that an organisation has benefited from lottery funding to the tune of 7 million quid in a campaign that used this Homeless mans image to gain publicity and attention. A homeless man that is still suffering from homelessness AND an antiquated law called the vagrancy act that in effect makes it illegal to be homeless moving people from town to town without offering any help. £7 Million quid yet the poster boy for the organisation remains homeless. Outrageous and worth further investigation.

If you’ve not been yet, it’s well worth going. Run by a local couple, with pub price drinks and run with locals in mind and the host Ryan’s bloody funny too. (He’s that guy with the big ginger beard, that used to host that Lancashire TV channel, if any of you remember him)
