Who out for the game tonight?

went into the bull for a coffee .but ended up trying one of there many gins and tonics it was very different and the friendly bar man went to great care to make it special .we read there menu and decided to stay for lunch .which was tasty and great value .we will definately be back .

Visited the bull a few times now and can say excellent food and service from the landlord and bar staff definitely recommend this place for a meal and atmosphere

The bull in Poulton-le-fylde is a lovely place great staff great service l would recommend the place to everyone go there once and you would definitely be back again.

Please put Riddle back on sale ... the new plank was great but the hot sauce I was given with the hot chicken wings was way too hot. I had excellent service from the tall young man in sorting my wife out with a different than usual white dry white wine. As we travel over by bus from Knottend we look forward to the great atmosphere, we are always happy with the service from the staff and look forward to next time.

Nice pub with great friendly staff. Out with friends for Cheltenham races, beer prices good too.

My favourite pub in Poulton. Great prices on the beer and food and the hospitality from Alan and his team is second to none. A throwback to how English pubs used to be , well worth a visit if your in the area.

I'm a regular now here with my wife along with our best friend, simply great value for money all round, never a bad beer or meal, THE place for live sport to suit all tastes, screens everywhere as well as a giant screen, great staff, there may be a Wetherspoons around the corner, but it doesn't matter to this place, it has enough to compete and be self sufficient, and that's a claim in itself!! Fantastically run with a challenge 25 in place to weed out the underage, all round fantastic venue!

Have been for breakfast a number of times , I found the staff polite and helpful, the food is always excellent and nothing is to much trouble , keep up the good service and thanks

Great pub, nice staff, good food, love it. We go in at least twice a month as we have a caravan. Near there. The food is fabulous, you have to try it.

Great atmosphere and great food, will definitely be going again.....

As a Canadian coming over, it was great to be greeted at a pub as a regular. The hospitality they showed was epic. They didn't like my "nuka cola" drink I made for them as much as us Canucks do, but they are definitely a wonderful staff and a friendly bunch. Looking forward to spending many great time there in the future. Cheers to a great pub.

Very good pub that has seen an upsurge in custom since Alan and Louise took over from the previous management who ran it to the ground. Cask beer it is not always top drawer but it is getting better. Great beer garden and a good 'pub' atmosphere like what we used to have. Good staff and well priced beer and food. Check it out.

Good pint at sensible prices, fantastic value for money breakfast, friendly efficient staff,love the boxing evening held there with plenty of large and small screens for no blocked viewing.

Good beer, good service and good atmosphere

Was very disappointing, we ordered chilli con carne and a traditional breakfast, after waiting over 30 minutes for the food, my chilli was tepid, the breakfast had a burnt sausage, cold beans and the bacon was rock hard, there was also no butter on the toast of which we had to ask for, although this was pointless as we returned both meals as they were inedible and got a refund. Prior to this experience I would have rated The Bull five stars and maybe in the future we may eat there again, but for the present there are far too many better places to eat in Poulton.

Used to be the best place to go for a beer in the sun but now it has been ruined by the new owners. Got refused a glass of Coke because we failed to see why we were asked for ID so the manger rudely took our drinks of us and kicked us out even though we did show our ID. Such a shame and we won't be returning in the near future.
