The room was pretty basic, ... Which is what we wanted, ... No frills.

The staff were excellent and were always there to help.

Being situated directly adjacent to the seafront it was ideal & would highly recommend it 👍

Stayed over night as was going to a Paul Young concert. The hotel wasn't near the venue but the next day we spent at the beach across the road from hotel. Brilliant spot. Hotel very comfortable . Plenty to do + see nearby. �

Nice clean rooms, nice today place and good breakfast.

Me and my husband are staying in the calton hotel and called for a drink in the bar lovely young man served us and was really friendly he even booked a taxi for us into town every one we met staying at the calton are so nice this hotel is lovely x

Have had an amazing family weekend staying at the Carlton hotel johanna and family made us feel very welcome , see you next year ‍‍‍

Had my baby shower here and the venue was just perfect. Everyone commented on how lovely the bar and cafe area is. Lola is a credit to the hotel and makes a fantastic buffet that everyone enjoyed. Only one minor downside was letting other guests use the cafe while the function was happening which I wasn't keen on with there being lots of presents and decorations around but other than that it was perfect.

Had a one night stay here 22 Aug to 23 Aug. excellent value for money lovely rooms and great food wiil b back

Had a lovely stay last night. The staff were all super friendly. The room was clean comfy and spacious with perfect views. Will be booking for longer next time and if it wasn't booked up we would of stayed another night.

Great place.was there for three days .very clean and tidy .breakfast was very good .wished could be there longer.great location for a break .you wouldnt be disappointed .great views if your lucky enough to get a front room .maybe next time eh.will be back again .

Fantastic room for what we needed. Very friendly staff and the food was great. Car park could do with being bigger but plenty of spaces on the front. Nice little bar with good beers on. Would be happy to visit again without a 2nd thought.

Fab time, staff great they had to put up with a hotel full of kite flyers. Well done to all the staff x
