Father's Day June 17th. Treat Dad to a full English breakfast, or a Traditional Sunday Roast Dinner, a Steak for tea. A fine selection of cheeses along with a bottle of English Wine or perhaps some locally brewed Craft Beers. We've done the thinking so Dad can do the drinking, and eat a little bit too!😁🍴🍺🍻

It's British Pie Week this week. A time to recognise the skilful blending of meat with just the correct amount of pastry. What better way to celebrate than with one of our large plate steak pies. Smashing!🍴🍽🍴

We moved to Manchester but still travel to Chadwicks for our meat. We haven't come across anywhere better. The supermarkets may be slightly cheaper but you can't compare the taste and let's face it, that's what we are looking for when we eat a nice meal.

We go there at least twice a week.. and hold our meetings there..

great food freshly made and top notch ingredients.. back that by being served by superb staff.. it's a true winner...

Love this place. Both shop and cafe are superb. Top notch food with friendly and very helpful staff. Would highly recommend!!

I love coming here on a Saturday afternoon with my partner for an afternoon date when we haven't got the little one I love the hot Baguettes then nipping across to the butchers getting some meat for tea as well which is alway perfect �

I have been coming here for years .food always yummy .chips are just like your mum used to cook .food always excellent.good value for money 💰.

Held my sisters baby shower here. 17 of us had afternoon tea. What excellent quality food it is and amazing value for money. Thank you.

Had a lovely meal...plenty to choose from...very good vegetarian menu & gluten free ....3 of our party had the fillet steak said it was one of the best they had ever had ....staff were very good ....overall 5 out of 5 ...will DEFINATELY be visiting again soon .

Bought 2 braised steaks from chadwicks this morning for a very reasonable and affordable price and had them in the slow cooker for 10 hours....... Absolutely amazing, wouldn't have tasted as good not for the quality of meat.

Best fish and chips and breakfast you could ever wish for and at a very reasonable price, I ho at least once a week�

Been to Chadwicks 1817 Restaurant tonight with my family, have to say it was a pleasure. Excellent food, staff service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Been a few times and I've always been impressed. Tried the 1817 burger which didn't disappoint was very tasty! Might have to give the burger challenge a go at some point!👌

Always top quality food and friendly staff. Great size portions too. Amazing place

Always go to Chadwicks. The food is always hot and fresh. Good service.



I go to the butcher's too, always good meat. Never had any problems.

Had lunch on wednesday with my daughter really enjoyed it only one problem asked for water to drink it was warm and no ice.

called for a meal tonight my salmon and sea bass was lovely however my husbands steak was was overcooked he asked for rare also wasn't very tasty we mentioned it to the waitress but was not offered a apology

Food good owner heartless knob read throwing family off car park as there beloved pet dies dont use chadwicks if you are a dog lover

Chicken was cold and had a bone in it I nearly choked on the panini! It was fairly expensive for what we actually ordered and the chips were undercooked. Meh

i go to the butchers to buy meat none better so thought i would give the restaurant a try i shouldn't have bothered got there about 5-15pm ordered a drink and food got the drink no one came back to us until our food was being served at 6-05 hubby had gammon and chips the chips very greasy i had the black pudding starter for a main meal the egg was soft not runny yolk i didn't mind that much but the black pudding was very over cooked very hard had to leave it didn't even wrap it home for my dogs thats how bad it was,didn't see any one to complain and it took so long to be served in the first place i didn't bother but did mention the very poor service and bad food when i payed the bill and all i got was yes I'm sorry about that its because we are busy...dont think i will be going back
